I have invented a fun little game DODO KICK use procoptodon an argie and a few tribe mates have a tribe mate on an argie and have dodos in there talons drop them in front of the guy on the procoptodon use kick attack as they go hecka far when you kick em have another guy with a dino gateframe and a few walls behind it the game is just a thing to test mele damage per level up on secondary attac

They can eat berries on mobile

I use a net projectile to demobilize it then shoot it with tranqs.

Can’t be picked up by argents or wyverns now. Such bs

Can be trapped with the net gun.

These guys should really be in groups because that’s how they are in real life.

These things are FANTASTIC travel mounts!!! Not only are they very fast by default, but they also have a very impressive jump that lets you literally launch across the land (and I’m 90% sure they don’t take fall damage because I’ve jumped off of mountains with them without getting a scratch). You can outrun just about anything! Not to mention that they also dish out decent damage, and their kick attack has great knock back, so if you time it right you can kill mobs without taking any damage yourself. AND they have really good stamina- it lasts for a long while and recharges super quickly.

Taming them is pretty easy. I recommend using an Argy to pick one up and then drop it in a trap, you can just use a 2x2 stone foundation and doorframes all around it. If you’re using the PC version, you can lure it to follow you into one with a rare flower, but it unfortunately doesn’t work on mobile. If you want one sooner (can’t get an argy saddle until level 60 or something), you can do what I did and have the trap up with doorframes on all sides except for one and then attack it, and try to herd it into the trap. This is pretty difficult to do though, not gonna lie. If it’s a lower level one you’ll probably have better luck with just using a bola and tranq. If you have soothing balm, I recommend using that, especially for higher level ones because it takes like an hour to tame otherwise, and the torpor goes down a bit quickly so you gotta babysit it. Otherwise, they’re really fantastic to have, especially early game! Not to mention SUPER fun to travel with, and super cute! In my opinion, anyway. If you like riding Beezelbufo, then you’ll love Procoptodon because it’s everything Bufo is but improved upon and easier to control.

It's able to carry baby dinos in it's pouch, allowing for double imprints, And a slower food consumption rate for the baby. This onlh works with a female that is mate boosted

Good way to trap them is with a standard 2x2 stone doorframe trap and rare flowers. They can get over 1 wall, so stack walls 2 high. They cannot be picked by any flier, and can only be immobilized by large bear traps. Another way to get them, for high level survivors, is freezing one with a snow owl, and putting spikes around it

It says you can't carry a procoptodon with an argy but you can actually.

I see a lot of people saying they can only be found in redwoods but I found one on the mountain close to the carno island I think it's called Giga mountain

Tame a level 150 and you can get up to 3k weight and it's faster than a quetzal use for metal runs and grinding

I tamed my first procoptodon a couple days ago and it has been very fun and useful for travel and exploration.

Just gonna say that the things the birds can and can’t pick up needs updated. I picked up a Procoptodon with my argy just yesterday.

CAN be carried bye a argentavis and Quezt on mobile. Approved.
