So there is os many reasons why you should tame a procoptodon

1. They are good wood gatherers and berrys too

2. They can jump really far and can escape from enemies easily one time I saw a raptor and I thought I was gonna die until my procoptodon came in like an angel and saved me.

3. They can carry babies on their pouch

Even though I’ve never tried it before I still know it’s true. Btw I kinda need help with the carrying a baby because I’m playin* on iPad and I can’t find out how to put a baby on a procoptodon pouch. Pls if anyone know pls let me know thank you!🥰👍👍

It’s rare to get these guys to spawn but I think I know how to get one to spawn in.

There’s an island on the top left of the island map (it’s touching the snow area but it’s a small island) lots of rexes and stegos and Argys spawn in that same island, so I like to kill those guys (pteranodons secondary attack is my favorite way to kill them) and if you go in circles around that island by killing everything after ten minutes or so you will find a procoptodon , it works better if you’re on mobile single player

In a pvp server this beast save me by kicking an enemy allo pack them from the top of the mountain

I found one by the river next to the volcano on the beach of the red woods and argies on mobile can pick them up I picked one up and took it to my base to knock it out for a safe tame I recommend doing this

Very easy to tame one of these fellas in mobile. First take a bola and trow it at the roo. Then while it is stuck place 3 to 4 wooden wall signs around it. Trank it and feed it rear mushrooms. You will need a few narqs and soon you will have a bouncy chief

For any one wondering, to tame u literally just got to get an argy lift it and carry it by ur base, if ur base is in an area with good space, drop it and trank it out. But step2 for safter measures try pre building a 3 x 3 square of thatch or any thing and drop ur guy in it and trank it out i did step 2. IF THIS WAS HELPFUL LIKE ^👍🏼👍🏼

Great traveling and gathering mount. Their high speed and weight allows for efficient transportation, and their pouch lets you carry two people at once! Their high knockback kick and huge leaps make it very difficult to get swarmed.

if you are fighting and losing you can kick the anomie away and then jump away

I don’t know why people don’t talk about this more, but this is probably the *best* early-game tame for traveling, it has very good weight (a level 2 procoptodon can hold like 500 wood with no problem) and its. SO. INSANELY. FAST. like this thing rivals super bred mounts, the jump can pretty much get you out of any sticky situation, takes no fall damage, and you don’t even need to pump speed into it because you can still move crazy fast if you spam jump. Just pump all of the points into stamina unless it’s high level and bam you got the perfect mount for travel

If you havent tamed one yet I dont know what are you waiting for, using this is next level of having fun!

Has a new kick attack that can do large knock back to even big creatures such as the bronto. With the kangaroos new knock back attack, it is a must have for keep attackers at bay.

Just shoot it with a net projectile and place billboard above the Procoptodon, then put rare mushrooms in it's inventory and boom, u have one😉

These are so hard to find in lost island, I’ve found gigas, wyverns, alpha rex’s, rock elementals etc but never one of these

They can be caught with a net. Use the harpoon gun an net the roo, once down use headshots with long neck rifle to tranq it then tame. No need for a trap. Make sure you bring narcotics and the required amount of rare mushrooms to feed it once starve timer is done.

Definitely my all time favorite tame. Although rare, it is incredibly useful for navigating, its right click attact combined with the jump can get you out of any situation I can imagine, and has loads of weight. If you see one, definitely tame it.

Just killed five allos one after another while barely getting hit because of this thing’s epic knockdown. To clarify, I started fighting 3 allos, killed 2 of them, was fighting the last one when another allo showed up, killed them both, and then the final allo showed up. It is 100% worth taming imo, especially if it’s a high level one
