With the addition of wild baby dinos in ASA these guys will be useful for taking wild babies back to your base.

WARNING the torpor calc is off and it will wake up without you pumping it up(at least on scorched earth)

They spawn on mountains, and you have to pick them up from danger because taming them at the mountain is very risky and dangerous! I just picked one up, brought it to the gate of my base and knocked it lit with toxic arrows.

Tip for taming, get some rare flowers and use a taming pen lead into it, trap it, then pelt it with arrows

As of 4/20/17 this calculator is incorrect. 150 max torp is 2138 not 3479. A problem for sure

If you have one, put a flak helmet on it. (Trust me, it looks insane)

The procoptodon is rare-ish to find, it can be tamed with rare mushrooms and they dont have the largest amount of torpor which makes it easy enough to knock out

I was able to pick one up with a argent in ark mobile

Great for raids, the passenger can shoot rockets and use guns, the driver can jump over behemoth gates and dinosaur gate with ease. And very in general fun tame to have.

You can put newly hatched babies in it's pouch and they gain an imprinting buff.

If you're looking for one of these on the island, go to the volcano. I found two of these things on opposite sides of the volcano.

Taming this thing is a little tedious: ARK: Mobile btw

1. Get mushroom, mushroom is the best food for Procoppy, best go to the swamp or wait for your daily reward to get some

2. Find The Roo: it's kinda hard to get since you have to go to terror bird land and look for a (base color) camouflaged jumping thingy on the ground. Luckily on mobile you can pick them up with an Argy

3. Trap the Hopping boi: (they are passive and flee when attacked, they do not fight back) after you secured the boi in your Argys talons, you'll need at least a 2x2 trap (don't make it out of thatch please it looks ugly ish) with 2 high walls/doorframes, (be careful of your frames because sometimes it can glitch out of your doorframes) then drop your soon to be Australian Beelzebufo into the trap

4: Tame: I would say at least Tranq dart type of knockout power but toxicant arrows are fine too. And start firing away! The Roo should knock out in around a dozen shots and then you should be able to feed it mushrooms. (very luckily mushrooms don't expire so that's great) Make sure to get a good amount of narcotics or bio toxin.

Usage: now you have a tamed kangaroo, and there are some uses to it, first of all. A lot of weight when you tame it and +20 kg whenever you level it up, it also has Near ZERO fall damage. I jumped off blue ob to the ground and suffered like 10 hp, it is also multi-passenger albeit the saddle not having another seat, the pouch is there to help, as the pouch allows weapons and tools to be held in the pouch and you have a weight reduction in there as well. There is 2 attacks: there is the Bite (Right side Tap) which is self explanatory, Only collects Wood and Thatch. And there is Kick (Left side Down swipe) which collects wood and thatch and does a good amount of knockback, perfect for sending anything out of your sight. (spyglass glitch encouraged)

You can put dinos you are raising in the pouch and they get 2xs imprint (if you get 17 from a kebble you can get 34 if it's in a pouch) and the food goes down 2x as slow

Just tested it today, it is possible to carry it with an argy in Ark mobile

Well just use wooden billboards and just wait for it to stop then place wooden billboards around it and boom now it’s stuck enjoy.
