Tamed a level 15 during an event but that's not the important part. When he ran he did a hug bounce and timing it just right I was able to shoot him again before he jumped again. No traps and no bolas. Best advice if use a giga or wyvern to stand on for a height advantage if you want to shoot it in the head once it lands or risk a body shot while in the air.

Ever since they stopped the bola from working on it I use a wyv to trap/jam it so it cant run. Then tranq away. It's the easiest and my far the cheapest(if you have a wyvern?) Hope this helped

Guys Where Do I Find This On Mobile? I saw one once and I realized I didn't have any mushrooms or Species X Seed so I went to gather some and I came back and it was gone and replaced by 2 rexes , I fear the worst happened and I can't find any more.

I was taming a Lvl 10 just for the hell of it (Really cause I wanted to carry babies) and with 2.5x taming speed if only took 2 mushrooms, not 5 like the app says it should. Just trying to help, not saying the app is always supposed to be spot on! I know the amounts are collected from players, so they won’t always be exact!

Why is it so hard to tame them just make them rat berries and make it so we don’t have to find rare mushrooms witch are “rare”

So. The first time I knocked one out. I forgot to bring narcotics, and it woke up before I came back with them. I tried chasing it down, but it started literally climbing up a cliff. Does anyone know how it can do that??

I understand that these things need rare mushrooms to tame but comeon wild card give us the ability to use berries they are hard enough to knock out

These little Roos, can be a good early mount game (the saddle for these is level 23 though) pump Health, maybe some stamina, weight and movement speed. When you do you can have.

1. You can have good health if you are not comfortable with the health already.

2. (Idk if they use up stamina while jumping) But you can have enough stamina to get away from bad situations!

3. You can harvest, you might be a little encumbered but pump up weight.

4. You could probably out run most creatures (raptors, direwolves)

5. It’s a good mount to have!

Set up a pen, eat a rare flower it will agro, run in pen, it will stop agroing after a few then go in and knock it out with darts it whatever. So easy.

With the new flyer nerf I've found the procoptodon to be the safest and fastest ways around the map if movement speed is lvld.. I've got movement speed at 174 and can smoke any wild dinos including wyverns.. Keep an eye on fall damage while jumping

Pump melee and weight it rivals the best berry gatherers in the game, you can get around with ease making a berry run much quicker than with the bigger dinos with comparable yields

Also quite good at harvesting berries; I'd pick one of these over a Morellatops any day.

Where: I've found quite a few in the red woods at the base of metal mountain. You just have to look they are easy to miss.

What: you'll need some mushrooms for taming food and some narcotics bring the quantity accordingly.

When: morning is easiest to spot them. Any closer to night and they can dissappear pretty quick if you don't get them down right away.

How: you can build a 1 by 1 structure around them to keep them in place, corner them in the rocks in the mountains or (like I did) use a scorpion to stop them in thier tracks (easiest way for fast dinos since I don't really build traps).

These guys seem to be delicious because every predator wants them so be sure to protect. (Usually keep a couple dinos to call in for sentry duty)

Use a Equus and a lasso to lasso it and take it to a pen to traq it.

Not the most difficult tame but jumps around a lot, I can tell you right now that this is well worth it, collects over 1000 of each berry in three collect hops, small tribes, competes well with a bronto. Hidden gem it is
