There is an invisible barrier at a certain depth that the plesis will not cross, you can drag them up to this and shoot them till they deagro, when they do reagro and repeat until their knocked out. Also, you can drag them to the entrance of an underwater cave, and shoot the plesi, as long as you dont venture too far into the cave, it will not deagro.

(MOBILE)(easy mode)

stuff required:atleast 200 bio toxin, an ichty, a crossbow and atleast 40 tranq arrows or 30 toxicity arrows

On mobile no creatures aggro on ichty although if you use a weapon the creature will aggro on you. Plesios are usually found in the deep in pairs of two.

Kill the lower level one to harvest its prime meat using the ichty. They like rex kibble.

Note:using a metal pick on a meg will harvest atleast 2 prime fish meat.

Strategy:Shoot the plesio and since wild plesios are not as fast as an ichty, the plesio will not be able to reach you unless your trapped. Keep in mind that IF IT DOES REACH YOU, it could kill you and your ichty in a couple of hits. Lure it towards the beach and since it doesn't aggro in shallow water, you could easily shoot it from your ichty. Once it starts fleeing, follow it and keep shooting. Once it is knocked out kill any nearby creature that could interfere with taming(megs, mantas, piranhas, cnidarias(use crossbow), electrophorus(use crossbow) and dunkles.(ichtys, coels and leedys are harmless) if there is a leedy, scrape meat from it for taming the plesio.

Name your new plesio

Trapping- it's a 3 for 1 trap. Trap will work for plesio, moss, Squid. 4 sides of behemoth gates. 4 corner inside trap with pillars higher than gate. 3 Celling on each pillars going center of trap. So only a small gap in center. Now take a small angler or ichy or shark. Lure dinos in and get out from top and close door.

Voilà.

Early game taming trap for big water dino. Now your problem is getting it tamed after that. They take a lot of ressources to tame.

I would suggest plesio and kill other stuff with it like alpha to get black pearls and Lure squid in same trap.

If trained well, they can be really good for looting deep sea crates, as well as visiting underwater caves

I found a level 51 plessi near herbivore island and lured it to shore then knocked it out and boom now I got a high level plessi (but jellyfish still scare me when riding it)(it died :(

Since a certain update, you can no longer get the plesiosaur to chase you up until it can't reach. When it can't chase you anymore, it will run away every time. Bring a dunk and let it munch on it against a wall. Especially on Ragnarok, the ocean is very open on there.

Always 2 near the east bubble under north tropical (the center)

If you have flippers on float up if they try to bite you they'll miss 80% of the time because they're stupid

4 behemoth gate frames and two doors did the trick for me. I got 2 knocked and killed the one that didn’t go in the trap. I used an angler to Agro into trap. I increased movement speed

not simple nor hard.

simply have a water mount to swim out to an area where you have spotted plesiosaur(s) or know where they spawn at, once you have your plesio in sight, be wary of the threats nearby.

It is important to kill off any nearby predators that could intervene into the taming process. (Ex: megalodon)

Next, be at a certain surface level (how deep you are in) to the point where the plesiosaur won’t try to swim to you from, and knock it out with whatever tranquilizer method you have (I used a crossbow and ichthyosaurus) and begin the taming process.

Also remember to bring at least 100 narcotics for whatever level.

Whoever said they are resistant to shock is lying my plesiosaur got stunned. I think I did less damage but I’m not entirely sure. But it’s not immune to shock. That’s for sure.

On the center, you can just lead it to one of those underwater bubbles it makes ko way easier it works with basicly any sea creature

I have some tips for easy taming plesiosaur lvl 1-30. You need: Tamed Ichtiosaur, Oxygen balloon, Raw Prime Meat or Raw Meat, 60 narcotics or under, any crossbow, toxicant (or tranquilizer arrows, but this will be longer). That's all. You don't need traps or anything else. Just swim to plesiosaur's face on ichtiosaur, shoot toxicant (or tranquilizer) arrows, swim away from plesiosaur, reload, and repeat this again. After he go to sleep, just give him some meat, and feed narcotics sometimes. When you are on Ichtiosaur, anglers and mantas don't hurt you. This will be easy!

I tamed these guys with an Icthy, it isn't that hard. Just remember to constantly resurface so that it loses interest for a while so you could avoid damage.

If you're taming a level 97 with raw prime, you're gonna need about tree fiddy narcotics.

You can trap a plessi by leading it into a trap the same way u would trap a argi but with the huge hats u only need 3 or 4 n put a smaller one at the end the it cant leave. They can also be found around carno Island FOR MOBILE PLAYERS.

Mostly found near underwater caves in groups of 2 or 3

All you need to tame is an itchy some jellyfish guts and some raw meat. Tip: if you are directly above it it can’t hurt you.

Some one said there are no under water caves but I have seen about 7 out of 12 caves just wanted to let u know

A beast of burden to the ocean as the bronto is to land, the plesiosaur can open many opportunities to the ocean. A good carry weight and large platform make it able to carry loads across the sea, or mobilize your naval superiority against your foes.
