Can’t tame any on the animals in this cave so no one would farm it like crazy. Also if a animal is over level 150 it is untamable.

If you're looking to tame one of these, it'll be interesting. Have a fast and strong megalodon to ride on so you can get around fast (or a manta/itchy). They can't go up much because of a sea barrier keep that in mind. Use that to your advantage! Tranq arrow it (bring a spare bow if using normal gear) and make sure you watch your oxygen levels.

Lead them to a pearl cave on the island and ko from the safety of the cave

Found in the underwater cave along with ever alpha going

I find them on the edge of the map

I got an idea that why the dossier says that they are passive, but the explorer never tried to see if they are.

P.S: they would have died if they tried to see

photo pursuit on solo: attack while on the Ichthyosaurus until it is very low health, it will not attack while you are on the mount. Then jump off to get the photo (the game will pause for photos in solo games) and return to game and quickly kill for added XP.

If trying to tame one make like a wyvern trap on the bottom on the ocean and hive someone else shut it. I use a sarco to lead it in the trap. On the center you can make the trap right next to the air bubble to escaped in the Airr away from any attack range and have a keypad to shut it.

Leveling up the speed does make it faster on mobile, this is the fastest water tame in the game. Great for exploring the depths.

Whistle follow to megalodons and have them follow you and you now have protection

Great alternative to rafts and motorboats if you don't like getting eaten by leedsicthys, though you'll have to try to not go to megalodon infestations if it is very slow

I just swim above them.Then i shoot down with a tamed megalodon near by.you can out maneuver them as long as you're above them.

Knock you off your mount don’t get to close to this creature and also extremely fast.

It is the fastest water creature who is also able to defend a lot of predators! I prefer a trap to get one of them easily.

Just piss em off and make them follow you by the time it rains away just rapid fire really effective

Plesis are outsped by Sarcos, which when leveled in health can also tank a few stray hits coming from the death noodle.

The real challenge lies in just how many arrows/bolts it takes to knock them out, furthermore they tend to swim in pairs making it problematic to try landing all your shots unless you kill its buddy.

So the first time I saw one, I have already been playing ark for a few months and I'm like cool...they really are in Mobile.

Following real time day I am abused by two. I manage to kill them before they can kill me, okay, cool, got this.

BAM two more immediately behind them!!! Good thing I was on my basil...just barely survived the second attack

When I'm looking for deep sea creatures most of them ignore you when you are riding your mount(I'm pretty sure this is mobile only)I carry another tame for it to aggro on
