Tips & Strategies
These are not "pleasuresaurs" as I soon found out =/
Any mobile players out there, there aren't any underwater caves so these guys are just commonly in the deep.
When on mobile please DO NOT QUIT TO SAVE THE GAME PROGRESS WHEN (plesio, tuso, mossa) IS UNCONSCIOUS, cuz it will gone and despawn
Also for someone who said you can only get mastercraft plesio saddle from "no air" pursuit, that's wrong, its depend on the difficult
easy > journeyman/mastercraft
normal > mastercraft/assendant
hard > always assendant
brutal > assendant with 3x armor
Whoever said plesiosaurs are the quetzals of the ocean clearly has never tamed a mosasaur
To the guy who lost his plesiosaur there's a button in menu to teleport your tames back to you but when you do it there inventory will be empty.
After tamed, you can grapple onto them while a tribmate drives it and easily tame more large water mounts. If you are about to touch a structure or terrain, crouch to take off the hook or you will die instantly and your body will fly across the map
Before you tame! This things bite radius is hooorrriibbllleeeeee. Do not tame in hopes of having some beast of the ocean. While it is strong, good luck getting it to actually bite something
They can't fit through the resource caves' entrances. Just lure it into one and pull out your crossbow/harpoon gun for the knock out. Just be aware of any nearby megalodons, as they can fit into the cave easily and ruin your swimming session.
These guys are great and super fast and also very strong. Warning when your gonna go tame these guys bring a sarco or an icthy , they also spawn In 2,s or 3,s so be careful because these guys do a crap ton of damage .
The weakness of plesiosaur is the depth limit. Use it to tame it.this also work for mosasaurs. Scuba tank and flipper recommended

Forget the trap. If you're riding on an itchy, hit the one you want to tame with a tranq arrow. It'll aggro your itchy, but if your itchy has decent HP, it'll probably push through. Just make sure when your itchy's being attacked, lure the plesiosaur a little higher, near a rock if one's avaliable. When it's attacking your itchy, hit it with arrows. It'll torpor run, and keep up with it until it's unconsious. If I were you, tame it with minor soothing balm. It's cheap. I tamed a low lvl 2 male with 1 rex kibble and a minor balm. I had used the aggro itchy strategy, and knocked it unconsious and it tamed with one bite. Also, to the person who said Plesiosaurs are the Quetzals of the ocean, I will also change your mind. As everybody knows, itchy's are super fast sprinting. Well when I tamed my Plesiosaur, I decided instead of requesting, i'd bring it home. Well, it kept up with my itchy, even though the itchy was sprinting. Also, you cannot request Plesiosaurs in shallow water, only in deep water. They're pretty stubborn. Please ^ if this was helpful!
If you are being chased by a plesiosaur, then swim up to the surface.like the mosasaur, the plesiosaur does not swim over a certain depth limit and is never seen at the surface(bit weird since they need to breathe, right?)
The trick to ko these guys is to wait for them to agro you, once they're close enough, swim up and backwards until you've reached their swim limit and shoot them as many times as possible. When they lose interest, just do the same trick and eventually you'll knock it out
Don’t use it to fight jellyfishes. Just trust me.
