You can find phiomas at the herbivore island. But it’s a pretty long way and off to the side. Another good spot is at South Province 1. There is a big stone platform which usually have one. That’s where I tamed my first (and only) phioma. But later I was bringing an ankly back from herb island and they made a bronto angry somehow. My phioma tried to fight but lost along with my raptor and parasaur.

Honestly my first rideable game I had... I loved her, cared for her, kept her enclosed in the walls of my base, only letting her out for a ride (and maybe to speed up resource collection) a raptor that had been haunting me, tried to kill her, but it got caught on some spikes... so free raptor meat as well. But then alas while I was taking her to help me collect resources, a bloody sarco ended it all. And now I have an eternal hatred for sarco’s and why I never kill wild Phiomia for food.
