Lure the Pelagornis onto shore or a stationary raft, then use a bola and tranquilizers to knock it out—avoid doing this over water, where it may drown. Feed it raw fish meat or its preferred kibble, keep narcotics ready because its torpor drops quickly, and protect it from predators while it tames.
