You can headshot a lvl 75 easily with one shot with a standard longneck rifle, taking in consideration that it's in a safe place to tame :)

Make your life easier and get close to him with a raft and let him get on deck and start raining tranks on him

They drown when you knock them out in the water so try to scare them to the shore, and then bola them and tranq them. Super easy tame.

Best to use a quets noble tame box. Since they don't run from you its easy to catch them and tame them inside since there mostly over water. Just remember not to move the quetz once it's inside the box or it will simply go through the walls..

If you have a longneck rifle, just shoot it with a tranquil dart. Easy K.O.

You can't tame one on primitive+ because there is no fish meat, the one I tamed before they removed it is slowly starving...

If you bola it on the water and tranq it,it can float while passed out,may not always work but it will for most

The best way to knock out your creature is to use tranq arrows if you are not that high of a level and you want to knock it out over land. Once you do that I hope you are close to water because you will need fish meat. I recommend that you don't bring fish meat but you just harvest it around your area because it could possibly spoil or you might not bring enough to which not bringing fish meat will help because while you are hunting fish meat then his hunger will go down and will make the tame faster.

Make a cage on a boat about 3-4 walls high as the fly over the water

An easy way to tame a pelagornis is a thatch box on a quetz platform with doorframe walls. Fly into the pelagornis then hop off the quetzal as the pelagornis is forced through the doorframes. It cant get out of the doorframes therefore makes for an easy knockout

Warning they wake up quickly keep feeding them bio toxins

This is a very underrated and unappreciated flyer.

If u wanna tame one just grab a GUN AND DART THE DANG THING it is soooooo mich Easier to do this for a high lol instead of wasting 6 trank arrows on it cause it ONLY EATS FISH

If u don’t have ascendant crossbow or rifle bola then knock with club but watch the torpor and don’t tame one in brutal. A lvl 405 even with 3xbalm and prime goes up 2.7 percent!

If on Genesis Unofficial and want this guy, grab a bola, some tranqs, and go to Ocean Southeast. They are everywhere here and land all the time. If starve taming, teleport to the Arctic N, kill all the Sabertooth Salmon in the frozen lake with a sickle, teleport back, and bam, you have yourself an organic polymer machine!
