Use a rare flower to force it to come to your rafter or a safe spot on a rock in the water etc. Then bola and tranq his face!

If you can get the bird on the water near a raft, (it doesn’t matter what kind) the birds swim in circles, and can climb up on your boat. Bola it and knock it out, and then you can drive out to sea to catch prime fish and not loose your tame! (Recommended: put a preserving bin on your boat. You can store the meat in in and use it when the bird is hungry enough.)

Eat a rare flower to make it attack you.

Bola It when it's right on you.

Most valuble flying mount for the center. Wont dismount you if you run out of stamina over the water.

Honestly these are so easy to tame, you don’t need bolas at all. Just find one that’s lev 1-76 and just shoot it once in the face with a tranq dart and it’s down for the count. Just remember to protect it and boom you got yourself a pelagornis

To get prime fish meat, take your fishing rod, and grab some fish ! You will get prime fish meat this way from any fish!

I hate how you can barely find it on beaches at least in mobile.

They do only way fish meat, but they seem to be fine on normal meat if it's in a trough? I was going mad trying to keep them topped up with fish till I noticed their health/hunger wasn't going down when it ran out of fish but still had raw meat in it.

These things took compy kibble originally so it might still take compy kibble, and not pegomastax kibble. Either way, moschops get more organic polymer.

Use a bola when they land then knock them out with a club or your fists no point in wasting tranq arrows

Best way I have found to tame these is to build a small quetz like trap on a quest. Make all the walls out of window frames and surround it with ceiling tiles as a walkway. Can use rare flowers to bait them in if needed. Little more advanced but this is how I tame them during events.

You need 2 bolas if its a high level may need 12 tranq arrow

Don’t Bola & Knock these guys out over water, Even tho they float when tamed. Knocking these guys out on water, they would rather drown then be tamed by me... Meh

They don’t need prime fish meat they also take raw fish meat of that helps the grind

I knock one out, lands in the river, put fish in inventory, then I turn back, and a second later, it drowned. Has an oxygen baseline, so be careful!

I found it easy to scare the Pelagornis to the shore wait for it to land then bola and tranq it. Sometimes a megalodon can scare them for you to.

You can find these little guys in basically any beach. Tamed one and saddled it and it is quite useful! You can also fish while on it in the water which is really useful if you dont have a raft. However the speed is quite low and you cannot hold creatures with it.

Don’t jump on its wings when it’s knocked out it glitches you and you take fall damage it killed me... still got the bird though

I suggest not getting more than 2 for a while because they eat so much damn fish - and only fish.

The pelegornis with eleven raw fish meat took only 8 min.
