These things do a lot of damage to all fish including jelly’s. They are very useful for collecting toxins. My tamed pela on brutal one shots most jellyfish that has like over 1k health. This bird is perfect for making lots of toxicant arrows. They harvest lots of polymer from young penguins. Great tame for finding otters. These birds are very underrated. I also soloed an alpha carbo with one by luring it in the water and using my speedboat bird to kill it

I found one on a nice ark day AND THEN I SAW THAT IT WAS A MUTE AND IT WAS NEXT TO A UNICORN so i used a bola shoved fish down its throat then BOOM I got a rare seagull AND I TAMED THE UNICORN it was da best day

You can use this bird as a boat for wuick trips around the area and fly if needed.

They are actually pretty good beginning game and are good for river exploration.

Based on the level you would need to stock up on narcotics, because it’s torpor drains a bit fast. Bio toxin works as well

Common on herby island for a nice uninterrupted tame. Bola and max 3 tranqs of any kind. You will need narcotics, but not a crazy ton.

The Pelagornis is the only flying mount with the ability to land on water without dismounting you. It's perfect for traveling long distances if you are a noob. Also it's a penguin and fish assassin.

Tame a low level and level it up it’s not worth the struggle For finding a high level.

You can easilly find pelagornis on the south part (the part where the hunter artifact cave is) on the beach, where the big rocks are

They can lead sea life to attract to the pelagornis including /manta and megladons however this is also good to trap and tame sea creatures

they cant go under water :( a bit waste of taming this thing but at least i dont get kicked off when i go on water. they ONLY eat fish meat. mine was starving so i had to go near my base cause none spawned where i tamed it.

Bola it and knock it out, if you tame it with fish, get like 30-33 fish and 10 narcotics, wait like 30 min and keep giving it narcotics when it’s torpor is almost out, soon you will have tamed your own pelagornis. so beginners like me can see.

For me, the easiest way to get a pelagornis only takes a few steps.

1. Find one, in my opinion the best place to look is Herbivore Island.

2. Bola when it gets to land.

3. Use bat, tranq arrows or even darts if it works for you.

4. Feed it raw prime fish meat.

5. Harvest a whole factory worth of organic poly.

Narcotics is way off they drain decently

You can find them along the West and Northern coasts flying out over the water. They also spawn on Dead Island to the Northeast.

Tip: Since it farms alot of Organic Polymer, I built a small base on an Iceberg where the penguins are and I leave it there so whenever I need Polymer, I just go travel to the base with an Argie and take the seagull out!

As a flying mount it's not too shabby. It's stamina regens pretty fast, can "swim" on top of water and speed isn't so bad. However this thing shines the most in polymer gathering. I've killed baby kairukus with this thing and it gathered a crazy amount of it its not even funny. Tame these guys for their polymer gathering capability

I hited lvl 20 with 1 tranq arow and that is it just gived him fish meat and tamed it
