They have decent stamina, speed, and they can effortlessly float on the water and regain stamina acting like a raft. Their weight is ok, but the big reason why people don't often tame them, is becaue they cannot carry creatures.

Tame a male and female and breed them

Breed them as much as u can and incubate the egg until its like 2sec or 3sec remaining until hatch

When you really really need poly hatch the egg and MASS MURDERER THE BABY, SEND THEIR SOUL TO JESUS and harvest the body with wooden club for a LOT of organic poly

Keep in mind tho that organic poly can spoil and cannot stacked that much

Baryonyxs are its worst nightmare. It’s not fun getting booted off into the water and every time you try to get back on it stuns you again. If this does happen just swim to shore and whistle for it to follow, that will bring the bary running. Start running away from the water (the peligornis can fly faster than the bary can swim/run) when your bird is close enough hop on and fly away. I saved my Orangeburg this way.

Hi 👋🏾 so here is how to tame one i use crossbow and tranqs which really works so if you see one (they usually stay near the water but not swamps) shoot with tranqs biotoxin if you have it and THEY ONLY EAT FISH regular meat will not work EVEN WHEN TAMED so since they are usually close to the water hop in that water and get some fish use a rod If you can and make sure you have some sort of narcotics

They can also work as a boat to get to herb Island i do that

On mobile for me they always spawn wayyyy out in the sea cuz I was traveling with my dolphin and I found loads of them in the middle of the sea tip get a raft if your gonna try to tame them and bring honey because if need is on to you just throw the honey in the water it pacifier the leed and grab your place on the raft and go hoped this helped

It might just be me, but I noticed that piranhas seem away from my pelagornis

I LOVE the Pelagornis. You don’t even have to tame a high level one. If it’s like level 20 or something it’s still fine. It ain’t no argentavies but its weight is pretty dang good. Gets a like 3 or 5 times damage boost to fish (idk which is one it is) and it one taps them and harvests them in a single attack. It gets a little extra organic polymer too. It can land on water (which is actually pretty op if you think about it) and it can swim pretty fast. You can also fish off the top of it when in water. Also if you look down at an angle and spam take off you will actually go under the water. As soon as you stop, you will float to the surface so you won’t get stuck. All in all, the Pelagornis is easy to access (on the beach so safer than an argent, really common so easier than a tapejara and way better to than a pt), has op abilities (fish damage, landing on water ect), is a pretty good flyer (good weight, alright speed ect) and it’s so easy to tame! Just bola (if you need to), shoot and feed it raw fish or prime fish, feed it narcotics (or just narcoberries) and then it’s tamed! The Pelagornis Is also surprisingly good at climbing. I’ve scaled cliffs with one of these. I would level stamina, weight and health (with a little bit of damage here and there). In my opinion, the Pelagornis is a top-tier flyer. This is a non-violent creature in the wild. Any type of attack usually sends it running. I say usually because sometimes it'll sit there letting you attack it and will not flee or attack.

There was supposed to be a weight reduction and poly gathering buff, but I was testing it today and no weight reduction and didn’t notice any better gathering

I find them on the beaches I got an all red lv 30 from a beach my advice get a boat they will also be in the water

Did you know if you use the controls that you would use to make it fly(ex. For mobile, you would swipe up on the left slide of the screen)repeatedly, it will go underwater? Make sure you keep spamming those fly controls to keep it underwater longer, but it has an oxygen stat so be mindful!

This madam is Awesome i tamed it alone today with just one Bola when Pelagornis sit down and give her Fish meet while taming.She can also swim in water and her speed is awesome and damage while killing fish in water is very high. Love this Creature ❤️.

They are like pteranodons but can swim and slightly have more weight storage and they are just good for longer travel’s in early game

It isnt meant for riding its meant for farming

Ever need lots of raw fish. Easy! Instead of swimming around in the water risking getting attacked by megapiranhas, simply make a saddle for your Pelagornis, Ride it into the water, and it one shots every small fish.

Great for pearl diving. Swim around in the northern area and looking down.

Currently has a bug on console that makes the bird's face look like playdough

At Fjordur, u can just find pelagornis on a raft, catch with Bola, and feed it fish
