Tips & Strategies

What are tips for pelagornis? Tips and strategies for pelagornis in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
I’ve been looking for one of these for SO FLIPPING LONG and I finally found one! I shot its head with a tranq arrow and guess what? It bloody DIED! my pain continues.
A tribe member one-shotted a pelegornis. It fell onto our raft for the taming. An amazing guy.
It’s a very underestimated flying tame. What makes it so good is its ability to harvest polymer and it can land in water. It’s like a hespioronis and pt mixed. The only downsides are its saddle comes after the pt at level 43 and it only eats fish. Also when I tried to bola it, it didn’t work so I just knocked it out with a bat
Don't knock it out in or above water. Bad idea.
I lost 90 level because I didn't carry or prepare for Nacrotics....
Hardly tried to make nacrotics but Finnaly It lost at 98.6% taming...
So keep nacrotics and fish meat ready
In my opinion for mobile players is a more worth it than pteranodons
You won’t need balm just backup narcotics their food us just fish, and they can pretty fast if you up his speed( assuming you will use it mainly for flying cuz of ptys balm reasosn) and the saddle is just a couple of levels after the pteranodons , keep your balm for a harder tame, seriously loosing a peli is way less damaging and punishing than a pteranodonu, they so much easier to tame
I'm so bored that I bred and max imprinted this birdies and they don't dissappoint. It can carry and harvest too much polymer I built storages dedicated only for organic poly because of this guy. It's slow and low on weight but they have reduction on organic poly, but they have a mid stamina and HP and they don't dismount you on waters. I have 6 of this max imprinted guys that I used for organic poly and penguin party and now I never run out of organic poly. If you ever tame one, get another two or three. You can use em mid game for transport along with 2 argies.
Compy kibble is no longer the preferred kibble...use Pegomastax kibble instead
They are passive-flee when wild, and are usually found hovering over the ocean. Easiest way to tame them is with a raft and bolas.
Position the raft directly under the bird, then bola it. It should fall onto the raft, then tranq it before it escapes the bola. Feed it fish or kibble.
