Many people think this Dino is useless, but they are wrong. Early game? Game one. Then game 2-3 dilos, (I use eight lol) and get enough hide for a saddle. Then, ride this thing around and harvest for 2 minutes, and you have hundreds of berries, including narco berries, used for tranq arrows. Very helpful.

Great mount in general. Loyal and surprisingly not the worst fighter. I was collecting resources in the woods on my mount when all of a sudden I was attacked by a carno. Luckily my parasour, Paraphrase, was up for the challenge. He killed the carno with more than half of his health remaining. Unfortunately I had to sacrifice him to a Therizinosaurous while I was taming a sarco. RIP Paraphrase 2017-2017.

This is a great first tame. It is often used for riding but that is not a good thing to do because they are pretty slow. But they are good for carrying your stuff. Great first tame.

Somewhat good for begin game I would recommend a trike though

Place a few at edges of your base in turret mode and it will highlight nearby hostile creatures. Excellent way to detect piranhas in water near you as well. Warning: it also triggers on oviraptors for some reason. Can also be set to detect humans for PVP servers.

This thing has a 2nd attack it can detect enemys which might be useful

Tame 10 or more and make a storage train to transport tons off stuff. Parasaurs are basically mobile large storage chests. Pump speed and stamina (speed more than stamina)

Great pack mule. Easy to tame, common, fast enough to keep up while you craft walls and foundations that you immediately stuff in its inventory. Strong and sturdy enough to protect you from dilos and other silly small agro dinos. As a mount... eh. I don’t go far early game, so personally not worth the early game material.

OMG. use these guys to get berries. Just press the punch/throw button when it's nose is over a bush. 5 mins of doing this and you get about 300 of each berry type and lots of seeds too. They can also kill dodos and lystros

Tamed 10 got all to level 15 killed giga fuckin awsome

Although these dinos are solid tames, trikes and other berry bois can be better tames if they are nearby.

So I got knocked out because of something and I was drowning but my parasuar sacrificed him self to save me he was at one health because of a fish of it wasn’t for him i would of died

They can scare off raptors and detect people and tames. Also, there good swimmers

GREAT TO HAVE FOR SERVERS!!! They can spot enemy players and you will get a UI saying that (your parasaur) has detected (player)! Always have a few on each side of your base on a multiplayer

Heard you can put these guys in turret mode to detect enemies. Well do that and carry it with an Argentavis and it will be a Argentavis with a radar.

I’d say it’s an amazing starter Dino because it picks berries like nothing else and has the alarm ability plus their kibble helps you tame raptors easily I strongly recommend that you tame one
