You can use them as turrets, you can build a taller tower and put a para and some turrets on it and it will tell you if a enemy has entered your base or in your general area. I suggest naming them Sector one or quadrant one second to quadrant two and so on, so you know when it pops up which area of a base has an enemy in it.

Find 2 Tek parasaurs to mate together, raise the babies up to adulthood, kill and harvest them (chainsaw preferred) for valuable resources. I now have more gasoline than I know what to do with

Easy to knockout and one of the best pack mules. Can carry a lot of items and can go for long distance on land.

Best starting game in large and even alone but has helped us with many of our adventures and expeditions

This is a great first tame! They are easy to tame and useful, both as a pack animal, a detector and starter mount. Use right click (IDK what it is for Mobile and Console, sorry) to scan for enemies while on it, or set it to turret mode while stationary. Level weight and movement speed for a pack animal, and for a mount level stamina and movement speed. Pair-a-saurs prove extremely valuable to new players and experienced players alike! Experienced players can use them as an alarm.

Good to collect berries as a starter game. Also, in PVP they can detect other players. Useful to detect a raid or an ambush.

This is easily my favorite starter tame great carry weight, amazing stamina, can detect enemies to help you avoid death(yes even underwater enemies too), and has a roar ability that makes small dinos in its radius get scared and run away from you, largest affected enemy in my experience is raptors very useful

Use the cooked meat not jerky it saves time and resources

Uses echolocation to locate nearby enemies. Helpful for a safe travel for a low level player. Red 'echoing' dots target last location of known threat.

The Parasaut is one of the best starter tames, it’s very good for early narcotics to farm narcoberries. Also, the alert setting will serve as a defense so you if anyone/anything is near your base.

Good early tame, not fast or particularly good as fighters, but they make a decent pack animal early on and later can serve well as bait Dino’s to protect your more vulnerable animals in convoys. They swim pretty well and make a good quantity of medium feces for farmers.

Newest update gives them the ability to spot enemies on your HUD.

Make sure to equip the ARK Founder Saddle when you tame it. For the noobs, this how you do it. Place the actual saddle in your inventory and drag the skin on top of it. Then put it on your Parasaur and ride into battle with style!
