Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a parasaur? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a parasaur.
People are saying you can't use a bola on a tek para, when in fact you can!! I've bolad and have successfully tamed many 100+ tek paras.
An easy way for new players to tame this is by trapping it in rocks or trees then hitting it with a club.
Also never tame it by force feeding it takes for ever.
Super easy to tame by just udon a bola and then hitting it with a club
To tame a parasaur the equipment you will be needing are 2-3 bolas for a level 120-150 1 slingshot 40 rocks but preferably use 4-5 clubs. Once knocked out feed it 20 mejoberries (purple ones). Once its awake name it Ralph and saddle it. Parasaurs are moderately fast herbivores with a very high stam and weight pool with alright health and low damage. It’s able to scan for enemies in a wide radar and its roar can scare anything up to a raptor. (Also forgot to mention they are pretty good swimmers they aren’t semi aquatic but can cross rivers and lakes with ease.
For breeding would only work at 19c instead of 24 through 28c
If you want the highest level tame you can get for a parasaur built a 1 by 1 thatch hut get a male and female dodo bird And set them to wander then take their egg than make cibble and feed it to the dude
Parasaur level 10/health 100/taming 100%
I always want to tame you but I have been failed
It’s rockcarrot instead of longrass!
When taming a Parasaur you will need 1-4 bolas and a wooden club.
I would recommend once you catch the parasaur in the bola hit it directly in the head a few times.
I would use Mejoberries to tame them once knocked out.
Craft the parasaur a saddle and put it on, have fun!
If you have a egg just get two or three fires going, or a fire and a forge, and put the egg next to them and let it incubate. If it gets too hot, put out one fire. How much heat you need will depend on your location, but at the most you’ll need three campfires. (unless your in the arctic area)
When your taming it knocked out and a supply crate falls on top of it
The taming is easy and so is knocking out and the great thing is it’s a really good Dino at the beginning and I’m sure any player can find use for one
It will always run away from you in the opposire diirection you attack from. If you don't have a bola to hand line it up with a rock, tree or steep edge and chase it there until it gets stuck.
Ok so if you are starting out put movement speed in your first 8 or so levels
Then if you bola it and if it escapes you can run after it
Then once you knock it out you need to put mejoberries and narcoberries in its inventory
Once you tame it then you have one of the best starting tame to gather thatch and berries. I hope this helped you’ll in your adventures in ARK 😃
If you tame a Parasaur then you know it takes a few bolas and berries to tame.
Parasaurs are great for weight and scaring away medium sized dinos, compies, Dilophosaurus', raptors and a few more.
The best part about a Parasaur (in my opinion) is that you can ride it have more of a speed boost.
I can knock it out win I can get it in to a rock😘
Go to the bottom of a cliff and make the parasaur run into the side of the cliff, then start hitting it with a club until it gets knocked out. Then only feed it mejoberries, and soon it will be yours😀
Always use the club to knock it out for the noobs
First craft a bola then use it on the para next hit it a lot of times with your wooden club last tame it.
