The best way to tame this guy is to craft a bola and throw it, (bola opens at lvl7) and it should be able to hold it until you knock it out. Feed with berries such as mejoberry and don't forget narcoberries if you dont have much in inventory, you need to keep it sleeping. And make sure to KEEP OTHER PETS AWAY, during the process! They may get in your way.

After that you can saddle it at lvl10. And its a good defense against dilophosaurs, bugs and other small dangers. :)

Tranquilizers are OK it takes a few seconds so don't think you missed and shoot over and over (I did) do maybe 3 and bola it than try your best to tame it in time! Good luck new survivor

It's easy you just have to find the one you want and then you bola it and you can just punch it out if it is a low level. I tamed a level 16 that way.

To tame this dino first make a bola if a pro you can trap it with a rock next find a parasaur third just make the parasaur unconscious fourth feed it Berry's or kibble fifth tame your parasaur and name it something sixth make a saddle if you want it now you can enjoy your friend parasaur!

These overgrown one-horned goats are so easy to tame, just bola one and punch it like they stole your spaghetti. This bad boy will get you through the game with ease. They’re strong and fast. Build a bola then a baseball bat or two and beat it till she is quiet.

It's like a human with better weight. Use a bola to trap it, and knock it out. Useful for collecting berries and thatch early on. Weight and movement speed are the best upgrades. Keep it on follow while getting resources, and load them onto it.

Always use a bola on these guys but if you don't have that and your new hope that there are bolders around because it is possible that they can get stuck and you can knock it out

They are great for a mount rescue. If you need to return to where you died, I recommend this mount. All its really good for is a steady run and recovers stamina fast.. Saved many high lvl dino at a cost of a low lvl Parasaur. AVOID FIGHTING

Taming:

1.Choose your Dino

2.Bola it

3.Club or fist it to knock out. (Clubs break east, craft 2-3.)

4.put Mejoberries in inventory (I suggest 50 berries so that you don’t have to refill often.)

5.Now you have a Parasaur!

Knock it out with Tranquilliser Arrow and have a lot of berries

This is a very good starter Dino for it is fast and generally easy to tame. What I do is craft a bola, a club, and a lot of narcotic. Basically you bola it, beat it with the club, then feed it berries and narcotic. It should take about 30 minutes. Then craft a parasaur saddle and then you’re done! Have fun with your Dino taming!

This was my first dinosaur I tamed. For mobile players, I suggest harvesting berries, I found my Parasaur at the beach, so after harvesting, maybe go to the forest or the beach, punch a Parasaur or use a tranq bow and shoot it until it faints, then feed it the berries. Once you tamed the Parasaur, craft a Parasaur Saddle then ride it, they’re fast.

I recommend a Parasaur thats a lvl that you can take down quickly. It has a high chance of escaping while your trying to etheir hunt it down, or capture it, so try to go in an area with lots of forest, so then it will get stuck. It was easy to lvl up for me. It will take any berry, so try feeding it that, and get those purple ones too. I had a para that was lvl 29, but it died trying to kill a triceratops. Its name was Paray.

Yes the first dude was right about the bola so when your level 8 craft a bola, find a parasaur and get it with the bola I usually knock it out with my fists though I’d suggest doing that and not with a axe or what ever you have if you don’t wanna kill it. And when your level 10 I suggest collecting. 80 hide before your level 10 which I did not do, pretty I’m stupid, anyway the other stuff is easy well should be. This is for beginners and you can get exp by collecting berrys and mining and blah blah I suggest getting some dodos first just in case a carnivore kills you. Please 🔼 if you want beginners to see
