I would just bola it and hit it with a club it in the face. Don't waste narcotics, they tame fast enough to use narcoberries.

If you haven't tamed one and you have something like a trike don't tame this.

When attacked, they will always run straight away from you. This way you can make them run into a cliff or other obstacle and then they're easy to kill or tame.

For taming a Parosaur you should try to find one farther away from water, it's not fun trying to chase one down on foot just to have it go in the water. If you have a group of people with clubs try to hit the Dino in the direction of a cliff, the Dino will get caught against the cliff/rocks and you can simply put it to sleep. If you have traqs then do the same but it will be slightly easier. Don't worry if you don't have narcotics, the Parosaur can easily stay down just with narco berries. After the few minutes you should have a great starter Dino/egg layer.

Tame easy with bola and saddle is easy to craft

They only take 1 tranq arrow to knock out.

Step one hit its feet with a bola

Step two hit it in the head until unconscious

Step 3 put lots of nocomberries in its inventory

Done

First smoke it down without drunk arrow

1 find one on the beach

2 shoot it with a bola

3 the bola keeps the Parasaur still so attack it until it says unconscious put food in inventory to tame

4 give it berries as the thing line reaches 100

If you don't have a bola on you you want to push them towards a cliff wall

A club is best just hold attack and it should be out by the time it’s done trumpeting

Just bola it and knock it with anything you have. Even fists work for low levels. I recommend this to be your first tame because it can carry a lot of weight for you and is a good defender from little threats.

You want to try to bola them they are very fast and will run away. After that you can use your slingshot or bat.
