Wassup,the parasaur is perfect for exploring and scouting areas , this is mostly because of its weight which if you like collecting random useless stuff like me is perfect not to mention it's above average speed and its ability to scout areas it can also gather berries.

Finally I like to put ALL my points into health and weight so i can transport stuff easily, the drawbacks are that unlike the trike which has a giant hit box the parasaur requires aim to efficiently gather bushes .

i the end its the perfect beginner tame .

All-around beginner tame. Good stamina and weoght. Definitely not a battle mount, but the tlc alarm system just gives you more of a reason to tame.

I just wanted to give y’all a tip for killing paras. 1: have Spears (3-4)

2:bola the parasaur 3: ⚠️make sure that you hit it in the head or this doesn’t work⚠️ 4: hit the head 3-4 times then BAM 💥 some hide and meat easily. (Or you could just have dodos lol)

You know how parys always run off you punch Them, well if you go to herbivore islands there is loads of rocks they get stuck in which is perfect To trap them and knock them out

This technique can also be used for phiomia

There great cargo haulers if you upgrade their movement stamina and weight capacity

It can detect players nearby put on turret mode

Literally An early game car.

Easy to tame.

Get berries

Bola a high level

Sling its head(or bat it)

Feed berry.

Also these guys can carry alot of stuff, with eh speed.

The parasaur is probably my favorite early game tame, It's really early game, it's rideable, it gathers berries, it detects hostiles which you need to avoid in the early game, and it goes decently fast and is a pack mule. It is also one of the easiest things to tame (if it's a low level)

Why does no one like the parasaur compared to other gatherers? Yeah, the others might get bigger amounts of berries but even if it takes longer it has much better movement speed than for example a stego, and not only that the parasaur has decent weight that will hold much more berries, yeah, I get pumping weight on other creatures but starting off with half-decent weight is good on its own. But conversation aside, Cooked meat is better to eat anyways.

Gather berries and thatch… and kill dodos.

Every like to this makes my Parasaur, Orange, more famous. Also here is how to tame:

1.) Use bola (If you doing have one, craft it.)

2.) Attack with a bat, tranq gun or hands until it is knocked out.

3.) They are herbivores, give it Rockarrot, berries, etc. (No Narcolics needed)

4.) Wait for it to tame or go back to base.

5.) Check if it is ok

6.)Name your new Parasaur!

Also Orange has a mate named Mango. Mango is a SHE, Orange is HE

Can knock out instantly with shocking tranq. dart

Pin it in a cliff and it cannot run out until you tame it

These dudes run away when you hit them. You should use a bola to inmovilize them and then leave’em unconscious. They eat berries.

I Easy to tame just bola and use your fists, make sure you have berries though.

Parasaur is the best dinosaur to tame for the first tame it got good health and weight and cool colours

Hey so there are no tips on breeding that I am able to see so far, but like how do you breed is there somewhere you go to or something?

This creature is a common one that you will find on the beaches of ark. Parasuars are quick tames and with their new tlc update even pros are using them. The reason for this is because you can now set them to what's called turret mode which will detect enemies. You can also change it's settings to make I detect only enemy player's. Good luck surviving the Ark guys.

People are saying you can't use a bola on a tek para, when in fact you can!! I've bolad and have successfully tamed many 100+ tek paras.
