It’s easy to tame on of these guys, go into a forest, find one you would like to tame and punch it or hit it with a bat, soon enough, from running away from you, it should get stuck inbetween trees or rocks, the knock it unconscious! Easy for starters

Easily one of the best first tames you can get. Tames in minutes, it's on every map, and doesn't fight back. It's got pretty good weight, stamina, and it will likely be able to go faster than you. I personally use these early game as a beast of labor, carrying me while I harvest stone and wood from its back or have it at my side for when I get encumbered. It's scare ability is phenomenal for dealing with those pesky early predators like raptors that'd normally kill you without a mount. And it's enemy detection system is helpful even late game for finding hidden dinos like thylas or a dormant Phoenix. Or in pvp it can double for helping you find hidden enemy players. All around a good dino you should tame as soon as possible and keep around for utility.

If you only have your fists trap then it can’t run

If your new to this game this is probably the first creature you need to tame. It can get around quite fast and can carry more weight than the player. Also I wouldn’t suggest fighting with a parasaur because they only do around 5 damage.

Low on berries? Use a parasaur to get those numbers up again they are great at harvesting berries and even trees they are the best for harvesting berries for begginers (Behind Trikes) and they can easily kill an alpha compy the Dilo sometimes they can even beat an iguanadon with ease but stay away from those rock throwing giant therium rats that roam around (One killed my ptera) just watch out for stronger creatures specially the sarco and the Jellyfishes when on beaches.

1.bola it

2.keep on punching until nocked out

3.feed/put in berries

4.you have a para

5.try not to get it killed by a trike

6.I hate trikes

7.kill all trikes

It’s not the best for running around the world but it’s not that bad

Here's a little tip so don't have to look it up yourself you can drag a tranq arrow to a bowl to make it a tranq bow or make a bow that shoots tranq arrows the estimate how Mini time do you have to shoot it with the tranq arrows is wrong just wrong

If trying to k.o it ram the parasaur into a wall and make sure nothings on top Or else the parasaur will get stuck and you wasted your kibble.

One way: use slingshot and chase it down

Better way: Use bola to trap it then use the club on it

It’s best to try to hit it and chase it into rocks or a wall and knock it out so it’s easier to tame

Use a Bola and keep on smoking it with a wooden club until it is unconscious

All you need to do is go your crafting tab and make a bola after throw it at the Dino and hit it with a wooden club when it’s knocked out click backpack and it will connect to the Dino’s backpack then transfer 5 kinds of berries in the Dino’s backpack then wait hope this helped :)

Well I don’t know how to play ark but I trap low level parasaur and know it out and now I have to a female and a male and I made saddles for both o f them I got the when I was a noob kind of and I was really happy and I have the with my fam of dodos and a thing that u don’t knock out to tame it spawns where my base is and I don’t kill them a lot because I had a thing that had sharp teeth and it was like the size of a brontosaurus and u don’t know that out to you feed it berrys and it was so big I am happy I killed it because it was stuck and it was beside my base for A LONG TIME and I am really happy but my parasaurs are cool I named one copper pelt and one named leaf pelt if you read this thank you but I was think it would not be this long

You can use them as turrets, you can build a taller tower and put a para and some turrets on it and it will tell you if a enemy has entered your base or in your general area. I suggest naming them Sector one or quadrant one second to quadrant two and so on, so you know when it pops up which area of a base has an enemy in it.
