Tips & Strategies

What are tips for parasaur? Tips and strategies for parasaur in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Get a low level one knock it out with a spear then give it narco berrys and mejo berrys
Tamed a Tek Para and it got killed by one of those giant turtle things. I sad now
Bola it, club it, feed it berries. Boom. Your done, tame ten and you have a army that can kill Bronto.
Dont be fool by their innocient look, these guy can lead a bunch of raptors to you and run away while the raptor are attacking you
It happened to me once when i was searching for high lv raptor to tame, a para came running toward me and when i see it ran pass me, i got attack by 2 raptor (both about lv 100-160 i dont remember)and got pinned so i died, got my stuff back tho so no big deal
This kind of situation is quite rare but it can happen so take my word for it
When I started the game, I thought dinos changed colours when they levelled up. THANK GOD THEY DON’T. So I’m so happy!!!
Taming Parasaur
1 find one on the beach
2 shoot it with a bola
3 the bola keeps the Parasaur still so attack it until it says unconscious put food in inventory to tame
4 give it berries as the thing line reaches 100
There you go a Parasaur
Took 1 tranq arrow to knock out
He is super fast I could not catch him
They are running around everywhere on the island you just have to walk around a while and you will find one
for the beginners: you need a bola to catch them and then you can knock it out and feed it with berries (put the berries in their inventory). when you are on level 10 you can craft a saddle
i'm on level 43 and still got an army of these 'cause they are very helpful
If you are a new player these are a somewhat fast mount until you get a raptor if you see the tek variant of these tame them immediately if they die you can harvest there body and get metal and element dust all you will need is bolas a club or tranq arrows and mejoberries please up so ppl can see
Hi I’m MastaCheeks420
Ok so I’ve seen people say the iguanadon is the upgraded version of this but in all reality a parasaur has a very good ability on console (not mobile) to sense enemies. I promise when I say I went into the redwoods with the underground jack in the boxes, and terror birds and not a single scratch to me. All I did was upgrade its speed to CRAZY HIGH stats. I even killed a lvl 18 carno on my lvl 16 parasaur! I really consider these very useful when going into a uncharted area and you don’t have a high level Dino for travel.
How to tame a Parasaur:
Step 1: Find decent level Parasaur.
Step 2: craft a couple bolas.
Step 3: bola and BEAT the parasaur into submission.
Step 4: put mejoberries and narcoberries into inventory. (narcotic works)
Step 5: wait 1-5 minutes to tame.
Step 6: craft saddle and think of dope name.
Step 7: name Parasaur and ride it to your home.
Step 8: If the Parasaur runs out of food in the taming process, must more mejoberries into its inventory.
Step 9: Enjoy your new Parasaur!
The Parasaur is an easy tame, and a useful one at that. It can be as fast or even faster than a raptor with the proper levels while carrying twice as much load as one, it can also scare away raptors and other little critters that get too comfortable. You can do this by Clicking the Right mouse button on Computer, and the Right stick for both Xbox and PS4. You can get a Parasaur saddle at Level. 9 and it’s a beginner tame. The bad thing is that it has bad melee damage but you can level that up no problem. Parasaurs are also “okay” swimmers and they also have pretty good oxygen and stamina.
