My tip for taming these things:

1: casually approach para

2: stay far away

3: bola that thing

4: get out the wooden club and smash it

5: give it every berry you have in your inventory just to be safe

6: remember you’re only level 6 and realise you can’t make a saddle

7: watch it get killed by raptors

Get your damage high so you can easily punch it and know it how so fast.

Tek ones can detect enemies within its range, has a pretty big range and a turret mode.

Nothing can hide from its powerful scan!

Actually the new rework for the parasuar makes a great raid protection dino. Set it to turret mode by your base put players and tames only in the alert settings. Name it- Player At Base! Or - raid protection. And detects all the nasty raiders. Also good for detecting players that are hiding from you during raids.

You will usually find a parasaur in a forest or by the sea these animals are intelangent you might never want to put in on wandering unless you put it in a pen so it does not get away knock a lvl 5 or lvl 6 out it is good to start with this lvl

Good for high end raiding. Put in turret mode and select detection for players and tames. Carry with an Argy/wyv/quetz in turret mode and you can scan all areas while you fly over the top.

Have at least two bolas and have a club two depending on the level use around 50 mejoberries on normal settings where taking speed is very low.

Let it starve for 12-13 minutes

A pretty good tame for the beginning of the game. It has really good weight and moves fairly speedy. They could also work a distraction or bait for a dino you’re trying to escape from or tame. They got a tlc update that allows them to scream at things to make them run away. They are also alarms, they scream when an aggressive dino is nearby. They also have a cheap saddle that you only need to be level 9 to obtain. In conclusion, it’s an easy early game tame that is useless mid-late game but has lots of uses early game.

They have really good carry weight and produce eggs fairly quick as food or for kibble

Use kibble for extremely high lvl its glitched a 150 came out at 254

Parasaurs are super easy to tame if you have the right stuff you don’t need any other dinos just bring 1-2 bolas some narcoberries some mejoberries and a club all you have to do is capture with the bolas hit it with the club till it gets knocked out and then put mejoberries in its inventory and feed it narcoberries as needed the more mejoberries the better

How to tame (full,for beginners to)

1.craft a Bola and a parasaur saddle

2.get those black berries that make you tired and purple berries

3.craft a bat or a slingshot

4.find the dino and trap it with a Bola

5.knock it out with the bat or slingshot (stop hitting when it falls)

6.but the blackberries and purple berries in its inventory

7.when it's tamed put on its saddle and give it a name

8.Enjoy!

(Make sure to give it some berries for food in its inventory just the ones you would eat)

Your going to want to level up the speed first since they are pretty slow 🐌

It lied about the slingshot. You need to shoot it in the head with 6 rocks not 4 so try not to get mixed up like I did
