Easy and cheap tame great pack animal since it's faster than keemstar and can carry a lot spec for health or/and weight no stress if it dies(which it shouldn't if you have it on passive follow and run away)
So many people say, "Parasaur is the worst tame." They are all lying. With a Weight/Speed focused high level parasaur, you can get away from everything after you, plus have them with you when out gathering resources. They even swim pretty fast.
Use the sonar to scout out predators and ise the honk to scare away small predators like compys, dilos, raptors and up to terror birds. Bump up speed and weight and they’re one of the most useful exploration dinosaurs.
It's like a human with better weight. Use a bola to trap it, and knock it out. Useful for collecting berries and thatch early on. Weight and movement speed are the best upgrades. Keep it on follow while getting resources, and load them onto it.
Found mainly amongst the coasts in great numbers , they’re easily knocked out with a few club hits for beginning levels , but make sure to have a bola with you as they can easily outrun a beginner .
If you’re higher up you can use a bow / crossbow and a few tranq arrows to knock it out . The saddle for a parasaur is able to be acquired on early levels ( I think level 9) . They’re tamed within minutes whilst unconscious with any berries .
This creature is a common one that you will find on the beaches of ark. Parasuars are quick tames and with their new tlc update even pros are using them. The reason for this is because you can now set them to what's called turret mode which will detect enemies. You can also change it's settings to make I detect only enemy player's. Good luck surviving the Ark guys.
They are great for a mount rescue. If you need to return to where you died, I recommend this mount. All its really good for is a steady run and recovers stamina fast.. Saved many high lvl dino at a cost of a low lvl Parasaur. AVOID FIGHTING
