The DPS of these guys is actually insane for a small-medium herbivore. They have 28 base damage, which is not the best, but they hit like 5 times per second. I tamed a lvl 130 (in the wild, lvl 194 tamed) with ~500% melee damage and that thing can shred through all of the health of a mid level Trike (about 750-1250 health) before it even reacts. I then went to more dangerous areas to see how good it was. It destroyed a lvl 140 Chalicotherium (~3000 health) in the matter of seconds. Then I took on a lvl 60 Bronto (~7000 health); the Bronto didnβt stand a chance, as the knock back of this thing makes it very difficult for enemy creatures to hit it, even including giants like the Bronto. From my testing it seems like the DPS of my Pachyrhino (now lvl 200) is similar to that of my lvl 210 Carno and only slightly lower than that of my lvl 200 Rex. This has to be one of the most underrated creatures in the game.

I think ark should make narcotic spike walls, because narcotic tripwire traps render it untameable. Narcotic spike walls will deal damage to the creature attacking them, but not as much as a regular spike wall. Then you could stand in a ring of narcotic spike walls with a pachyrhino, use aggro mist, and tame some of the unconsious creatures! To craft a narcotic spike wall, i think you should need: One spike wall and 5 narcotic. The narcotic spike wall is similar to the tranq arrow, ingreadients and function. Please ^ if you want this idea to come to life! ;D
Did you know that Pachyrino's calm puff can reduce creatures' food fast?
That is VERY useful in taming.
Want hide? Build a circle of spike walls around it and use the rage function. Sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch all the nearby creatures kill themselves.
While fishing, are you sick of all the fish being scattered? If you bring this dino near the shore or on a boat where fish are near by and use the aggro mist, it will aggro the fish to come right to you in a big crowd!
They have a two-seated saddle for you to bring an extra person (like the griffin). Nobody said this yet (that Iβve seen) so there you go.
Can you use its βmistsβ (idk what to call it) on mobile? I want to know if there worth taming (β¬οΈ if they can β¬οΈ if they cant) ty!

1 it releases gas which doesn't make a predator hir him
2 he agros dinos on it
And also multi passenger realy great dino
It's a Pachyrhino and it knows what to do, one puff of agro buff and you're tamin' a zoo!
