On fjordur I always find these where the giga spawn near redwoods

Mainly Found on Rag in Highlands biome

On the Island they can be found in the arctic biome and near the mountains, but they are EXTREMELY RARE from the fact of about ANY predator attempting to kill it. Good luck!

So just yesterday we couldn’t find any beehives to make to make Veggie Cakes for an Ovis and there were plenty around the map on Ragnarok. I updated my Ark for the Love Evolved 2 event and the beehives were back so I went and made a few veggie cakes then I couldn’t find any Ovis’s at all!!! I was so pissed bro.

They aren’t on mobile, don’t waste your time looking for them if on mobile.

I was out collecting berries when I found one of these and I was ecstatic but when I found it needed Bee Honey to make what it eats I decided to knock it out and build a cage around it without taming it and from time to time I come to the cage bearing scissors to shear it for it’s wool my advice is to do exactly as I do (This is for low levels)

For the past few days ive been searching for one. I decided to move one and i went to the cave of the massive to get the artifact. My argy gets tired so we land a little inland going to the oblisk and i find an ovis! IF YOUR HAVING TROUBLE SEARCHING FOR SHEEP IN THE NORTH THERE ARE SPOTS IN THE SOUTH. GO TO HIGHLANDS FOR THESE! Very common there! I found 3 clumped together they were all level 150+ easy tames. Make sure to mate and boom build a farm for wool/pelt or mutton. Worth the grind!

Don’t even bother trying to find multiple on the island. Just export your character and argy to ragnarok. You’ll find multiple at once in the north east area.

Find them in great quantity near wyvern territory in ragnorok highlands

Move to Val, with a kit and some veggie cakes: maybe an argie and a mount, go to the chalk zone and behold, you only need two: one male and one female; then move them to your desired map and breed breed breed. It’s also great to throw them in your base and dw about AC because they are mammals. They are great for pelt also but by the time you need mutton pelt owing matter

Not hard to find some in Aberration, there’s a lot in the North of the map area.

Southern snow biome on The Center has them most reliably. Winter's Mouth on The Island has them most commonly for that map, but not as common.

Tame them and breed them make a farm

Don't forget mutton is very useful for taming carnivores

I've encountered two of these within an hour on aberration. Thought these were rare.

Found one in the southern most area of the redwoods (past swamp) being chased by two hyenas. Killed them all with my wyvern. No hyena is taking mutton from me.

There’s a lot in the snow part of the map.. they are usually already getting mutilated by a Dino though.
