Use scissors to shear them for wool

If you wanna get wool without having to get ovis by just geting vegie cake make a cage with dino gate then get a argy to transport it into the cage then just simply shear it with scissors. Up if this is useful

The ovis is a sheep-like creature that many survivors find useful in farming. It can be found in the grasslands. While rare, it can be tamed simply by feeding it one Sweet Vegetable Cake. This sheep can be sheered with Scissors to obtain Wool, or killed to obtain Mutton. Easy place to find in Fjordur is Jotunheim, go SouthEast. The cold there is killer but the best way to stay alive I've found is with full fur gear, an otter around your neck, Frio curry soup to keep help with the insulation and med brews as well as blood packs on your quick slots. I recommend at least bringing 20 or more med brews if you plan to stay alive longer than 2 min.. a HOT tek canteen will work wonders if you have one.

You only need one sweet veggie cake even for 150.

You find them (most often) up in the north biome, at the blue obelisk. As of now, they need to be born on a ceiling (One tile above where you want them), so they will not fall into the water under the map or other unaccessible places, warning, with this method they will still fall through the ceiling, but they will fall onto the foundation underneath, allowing you to claim them there. Another warning, The baby ovis needs to be claimed immediately, or else it will die of starvation, it will also have abnormally low weight, so be sure to feed it very often.

Pls pls do not kill them, they are so rare it took me 4 weeks to find ONE after I slaughtered 2. Tame them and breed it so much easier trust me

Before you tame it you can shear it which means you don't have to keep it to keep the wool. Also tame it with a sweet cake but then use berries to feed.

Use high health ovis to tame fjordhawk.
