My argy gets tired so we land a little inland going to the oblisk and i find an ovis! IF YOUR HAVING TROUBLE SEARCHING FOR SHEEP IN THE NORTH THERE ARE SPOTS IN THE SOUTH. Taming a ovis is very hard due to what it eats and dangerous creatures around. So if you have a argy pick it up and take it somewhere safe such as your base or make a little pen and drop it in there. Also what it eats is a veggie cake but it's hard to make. Also it's a passive tame so dont knock it out.

I've encountered two of these within an hour on aberration. Thought these were rare.

Use a chainsaw on an ovis and be amazed

Trimming its wool does less damage to your shears than you trimming your own hair while producing roughly the same results, life saver if obsidian is hard to come by.

Chainsaw for massive mutton, 1 sheep tamess almost any carnivore

There should be no problem taming this creature at all. They look amazingly animated, and they're rideable without a saddle. It also gives some pretty good items if chopped up. Mutton, hide, and pelt are some good items to own in this game. This is a must have mount. Did I mention they're adorable?

Move to Val, with a kit and some veggie cakes: maybe an argie and a mount, go to the chalk zone and behold, you only need two: one male and one female; then move them to your desired map and breed breed breed. Southern snow biome on The Center has them most reliably. Winter's Mouth on The Island has them most commonly for that map, but not as common.

Once you find an ovis TAME IT THERE HARD TO FIND PEOPLE EVEN IF YOU DONT NEED ONE GET IT!!!!!

This creature is extremely rare in crystal isle. If you want to take a dino with muttin you need to get it from another map. Spread the word!!!

Not hard to find some in Aberration, there’s a lot in the North of the map area.

To tame the Ovis you walk up and feed it cake. They're adorable, but if you're new to the game, you'll have some trouble getting the cake together.
