Hello everybody and welcome aboard! It's time for TriviARK!!!

Oviraptor philoceratops

Period: Cretaceous

Size: 2 meters

Diet: Omnivore

Oviraptor philoceratops was an oviraptorid dinosaur (obviously) that lived in Mongolia during Cretaceous. Its second name "philoceratops" means friend of horned-face.

This name was derived from the first oviraptor fossil found in a nest thought to belong to a protoceratops, a ceratopsid that lived alongside the oviraptor. But later it turned out that the nest, like the eggs, was that of an oviraptor, so we were not dealing with an egg stealer but with a good parent.

It's other name is Fenestrosaurus philoceratops.

Thenk you so much for reading and I will see all of you explorers next time.
