They can hold multiple artifacts based on their weight

They make great shoulder pets and can gather silica pearls quickly. Just a heads up though, when the otter is on your shoulder and you turn the camera to the side the otter looks like it’s been flattened!

These things are beyond useless on mobile except for the insulation.

If anyone is trying to replace acs with otters while hatching rock drakes, 4 100 melee otters should replace 1 ac

Really easy tame on mobile and seriously underestimated! Very hard to find high lvls though from my experiences 😔 The best part of them are when you take them fishing for black pearls 🥺 After they kill their attack target, they bring pearls back to you and show you what they found! 🥺

For raising they must be cryopoded all the time because they are so delicate when not full grown

Otters are so useful for the ice biome. You can put on a full flak set then put on your otter too and you’ll not get cold.

I’ve seen some people say to put them on aggressive in a coel pool to get pearls, but in my experience it only works when you whistle them onto a target

IMPORTANT message for mobile ark players. The otter can't hold any artifacts in it's inventory like in the pc game. Up so more mobile players can avoid wasting their time taming it.

Hello, I am one of the otter gods. I have noticed that the bipeds are called "Hu-hoo-humans" and are taking away my babies. Some people take care of otters, a lot murder them, and most of them make my babies do LABOR. You can do those tasks yourself!It's simple! Just make sure you take good care of my babies, and I will take care of you. If you dont, let's just say its try end if the world for you.

These things are so weak that if they attack docile creatures, they won’t even notice and will let the otter just sit there and attack them until they die!

TO ALL PEEPS THAT HATE FISH MEAT:

For me instead of giving all of my fish only waterers in ark fish, (otter, pelagornis, ichylornis, etc) u can give them basic kibble to eat instead. They will eat it, (not for taming tho) and it has a WAY lower spoil timer than fish meat. Plus, it doesn't take veggies. Up if u like this idea to feed ur piscivores :)
