I tamed one and they are the cutest little things on mobile u feed them Normal raw fish meat not prime (I got confused and was really upset when I realised this bc I was frustrated Trying to find some)I think u should bring pteranodon to help pick up the otter and move it safely.

For easy taming on single player mobile, exit the game and reload. The food cool down is reset, so less waiting between feeding raw fish! Enjoy!

Tame with Cooked or Raw Prime Fish Meat. I was taming with raw and had some prime on me, noticed the option come up! They tame faster! Simple fishing rod and sap will get you loads of raw prime fish meat. Also! I didn’t know you could pick up otters with petras while swimming, since you get nocked off mount close to water. I’ll have to try it out! Thanks!! For the tip!🙏

I found an otter in genesis part 2 in a lake by a mission giver. Diplocaulus spawn there too! Hope this helps genesis part 2 players!

Taming a otter is somewhat hard due to it swimming around and since you are very slow in water which makes it hard. Also because it's small and to hit the button to feed it (is passive tame only not a knock out tame). All you need to do is kill some fish and feed it to the otter. Then a couple of fish later you will have a cute little friend.

If you are starter tame an otter it will give you silica peral by killing fish it will give 1 for 1 fish but good for a starter if you didn’t see a silica on the beaches send him to kill and bring silica and it can tame by raw meat or fish meat. Sorry for my bad English but enjoy the silica and otter

In mobile no otter can hold more artifact n sometimes to tame otter even if i killed a fish and drag along the way n try to feed and it doesn't work only kill a fish n get a meat put it in hot bar it does work that way. I don't believe such what people say🤦

I'm currently breeding for mutations! I have my first mut of any dino on one of these guys , brown with a white underbelly and a cyan strip on his back! I'm trying to get more but I'm getting laazzzyyyy...ive only gotten this color twice , once on a male that I named 1st Mut bc I have no imagination, and on an identical female that I named Splashy Hybrid (I already have one called Splashy with regular colors) Currently gestating 2 more that I bred! On mobile they’re much rarer but easier to tame. All you have to do is passive feed it fish meat, instead of feeding it the actual fish like pc/ console

You find otters in rivers near swamps and there a passive tame so you can just follow them while feeding them. Tip if you have god console level them up while following so they become more hungry and more powerful!
