Can incubate eggs if you are too lazy to make an air conditioner or fire pit, may need more than one or a high melee for the otter depending on the type of egg.

If you put an eggs near them and they have a high enough melee damage on it any eggs close to it will start to incubate

If you find a otter tame it, when you put it on your shoulders it warms you up also you can put hats on it (my fav one is the T-Rex one)

The otter will not gather pearls on aggressive you have to command it to attack 1 at a time. Also mine seems to be glitched after eating a fish it will follow a random tribe mate or try to run back to base idk if anybody else is having this problem but I'm getting tired of chasing it after every fish.

Otters can keep you warm I recommend upgrading attack damage and health attack damage will make you warmer

These little things give you insulation when picked up, great for ice caves. (and their adorable)

These guys are essential for boss fights as they are the only creature in the game that can carry multiple artifacts at once.

If you live up north close to the snow biome it's recomended to keep one of these cuties on you at all times so that way you can resust the weather better! The higher the level the better :P
