I can imagine the noobs trying to tame Otters by knocking them out. And get a dead otter as a result. Don't knock out otters, it will kill them. Just use fish

After being tamed, it will only eat fish (cooked or raw).

Mobile otters can't take the artifacts!I don't know why but they just can't!

Note for mobile player. Otter can't carry artifact at all. So if you aim to tame one to carry artifact, don't waste your time.

When tamed put these lil guys on wander so they passively make black pearls and silica pearls

The more stats you add to melee damage the more rezistance they will give you.

1. (Lat. 63, Lon. 27) is the more exact location for anyone who wants to find your otter more easily.

2. Raptors, Carnos, and sometimes even Rhyniognatha can spawn around that area, so if you're not feeling lucky, take your fastest Pteranodon and fly the otter to a safe place near water.

3. When taming these cute creatures in Ark Ultimate, you don’t need to crouch or hide from their view range. However, the strange part is that you do need to drag a dead fish to it first, then feed it by tapping your last hotkey (where you’re supposed to put the fish meat).

4. Besides of two otters, I also found two tiny poop-throwing Mesopithecus on the shore. So, good luck if you're also interested in those!

Easiest way to tame pick it up in ur argys mouth so it cant move and feed it fish. As u can dismount ur bird and it will still hold the otter.

Baby otters will die almost instantly after being born be sure to feed it as soon as possible.

Just kidnappe it and feed them with fish ._.

Well... I am a otter god... I am here to message all those who may have "acidenantaly" Smooshed my children with a a horid creature. But I will find you. I will Murder you. I will have millions of my children eat you. We also have an alliance with the dodos and all shoulder mounts. We do not take murder lightly this is the first warning.

Level melee for it to keep you warmer/cooler(idk why) more melee=more insulation

Level weight for storing artifacts inside it it can carry multiple artifacts and is the only tame able to do so also hide your bps inside em when you get raided only soulless people would kill a passive otter

If you see one early game, TAME IT! It's basically desert and fur armor mashed into one creature, (if you pick it up) you'll never have to worry about weather ever again!

They can also keep you warm from the cold

If you are playing on mobile you don't bring it a dead fish instead you have to feed it raw fish meat. Similar to what is done with the diplo or other dinos of that type you just wait for their hungry to reset as indicated above their head and then refeed them.
