Otter wars Pt 4 -A New Main Target-
BOOM! BOOM! “Sir! It’s not working, the otters are too small and quick! Cannons won’t work!” “Well then tell the archers to come out!” A survivor commanded. 20 Archers came out of their base and aimed for the otters sending arrows flying at them. Unexpectedly the otters jumped up and broke the arrows in half mid-air. Reef and Aurora leading the battle of the Red Obelisk, the survivors had lousy attempts of fighting back. (Footsteps echo through the bases hall) “Out of my way. It’s time for those otters to be exterminated.” The survivor grabbed his strongest sword, best armor, and walked through the entryway to the battle. He mounted his raptor and found his target- Aurora. “STOP!” He commanded. They stopped, about to throw their spears, shoot their bows, smite their enemy, until he pointed to Aurora. “I challenge this little otter to a duel, not an otter helping, nor a survivor.” “Ok, Mr. Fancy Pants, but I don’t recommend you wearing your fancy cape into battle, or it’s gonna be torn to shreds.” “You wish.” The battle continues as the two find an arena to battle in. They circled each other, the survivor glaring while Aurora wore an amused smile. Aurora jumped- but over his head, and took a quick look for spots in his armor that could prove weak or unprotected. The survivor turned and swiped, but Aurora was quick and already under his legs. “Nice clothes.” Aurora said. “Thankyo-“ But Aurora was swiping the calf of his leg where the armor didn’t cover, as blood leaked out he groaned in agony. Darting and thrusting the battle went on. SLICE! Aurora glared and suddenly she began glowing again. “Oh no, not now…” The survivor was astounded by this and stumbled in shock. Aurora felt even stronger, faster even and charged her opponent feeling heat flood through her leg. “AAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!” Auroras heart beat even faster, then faster, than.. darkness. Her vision blurred, she saw three figures standing above her two of them concerned and one distraught. The image came into view and she could distinguish who they where. Squirrely, Lord Of Otters, and Reef. “Oh thank goodness your ok!!!!” Reef exclaimed. They explained what happened then and Aurora finally peered down at her leg, searing with pain and heat she saw no longer a foot was safely attached there. She looked up confused, still her brain processing. The duel, Auroras foot had been sliced off, then she came in contact with water and began glowing, and she had done something to a survivor…. What was it… she felt dizzy as she sat up and saw a cup of water beside her. She put a finger in and she began glowing. She quickly took it out as nobody had noticed.
