Alphas dont attack Otters and you can farm levels like this making your otter lower the alphas healt and shooting it when its low. But make sure the alpha doesnt aggro on you or anything that is yours then it will attack the otter
My otter that had been with me for over 92 ark days died and I legit cried for like 30 minutes. Rip hector.
