I had one of these I named Lego on a pve server and I joined somebody’s tribe then the owner took him away from me and kicked me off the tribe and I was really upset So don’t be me and get an otter and join a tribe pls

I used an argie and an ichtyornis to tame one; my bird held the otter in his beak, camping by the riverside as my smaller bird caught fish for it. Easy!

(((((((FOR XBOX)))))))... take a dino in the water along beach of redwoods, find the otter, clear the area of all threats, bite the water around area but do not eat the dead fish, jump off dino and drag the dead fish to the otter and when prompted press Y to feed. 3 TO 5 MINUTES OTTERS YOURS! Real easy.

Can carry multiple of the same artifacts

This little fella/gal will also keep you warm if you keep them on your shoulders during cold times or in cold environments. Reccomend using in tandem with fur armor and torch for best results!

You can find them at many places that classify as a river but some places are very good to tame otters at (high spawn rate) and btw keep looking if u don’t find 1 and they spawn a lot on the island

BEWARE, this creature is strong as can be, it can outrun MAX speed! it one shots titans and giga’s. In fact even your gigas timbers get shivered just by the thought of these blood thirsty beasts. If it see’s you it WILL DESTROY YOU, and will bomb the whole world, I have witnessed them take on 3 theri’s 9 giga’s and 71 titans all at once and beat them all without a care! I used my spy glass and it took NO DAMAGE, it has the most power, most stam, most speed, most weight, most EVERYTHING. If it see’s you, get writing your will.

It’s annoying how nobody here gives tips on where to find otters and how to get them without using some sort of fence or whatever..

When I saw it near my house I got so exited and then my triceratops killed it because I put it on aggressive

My lvl 90 female otter during a 2x tame timer took 14 sabertooth salmon. They were all around the 1.0 size. Some where slightly smaller, some where much bigger. Hope it helps

Very easy to tame just kill fish and feed it passively

Otters can be seen swimming in Red Woods Forrest River. Listen for there sounds while searching. Tame a Petra. They can carry otters. Easy pair tame, if you carry one around your neck & pick up the other with your Petra. Take it to home & tame it there. Happy breeding :) Hope you get melee mutations!

My otter ottus jumped into lava in the lava cave. Why did he do that?

If you kill the this you’ll get bad luck for the rest of your day I got bad luck for the rest of my day I killed it with a crocodile on accident

When getting an artifact, bring an otter because they can carry multiple artifacts.

I don't know why, but mine seams to refuse to incubate the egg (mobile)

Before you tame remember it only eats fish it will die without them we’ve lost about like 8 before realizing so REMEMBER only fish because Harry otter is taking so much amber-ark mobile

Otters work like dimetrons.u can hatch eggs with them

BIG TIP FOR MOBILE:

u do not drag a fish to it on mobile. You passive tame FISH meat.
