When taming, build four wooden fence foundations in a square. On three of the foundations set up wooden windows, and on the fourth one set up a doorframe and door. I recommend only building this near a known Otter spawn such as the small water pools on the west side of the Redwoods. Then, find an otter and punch it. Lure it into the box and bola it, then exit the box and shut the door behind you. Voila, you have trapped the Otter in a box to feed at your leisure.

Use a Pteranodon and grab it on water. YES! YES YOU CAN GRAB OTTERS ON WATER USING PTERA AND PLACE OTTER ON A 1x1 THACH WALL THEN FEED WITH FISH LIKE SO EVERYONE CAN SEE

When taming, go into first person and have your take on passive, learned this the hard way

I caught my otter with a argen, just pick it up then press C to pop it into the birds mouth and he canβt escape! Land the birb and feed him Sabertooth fish for a fast and easy tame!! Up so other who donβt know this can see it, the argentavis is very useful for monkeys too!!

These little guys are so much easier to tame in mobile, but harder to find. You still need to kill a megipirahna, but you donβt need to grab its corpse to feed the otter. After harvesting its meat you can easily walk up to it and feed it until itβs tamed. It doesnβt run away in mobile, and Iβm sure you can use any fish meat.

best to tame a ichthyornis and carry it with you when looking for one of these guys, put the ichthyornis on hunt and retrieve it will catch a fish and bring it back golden and will have a better taming affect to feed to otter, like this up its very important peeps must know :)))
