Console/mobile TLC is needed. You should be able to have Onyc latch to your back and give you a double jump or something special. Great for base security and destroying armor, doesn’t drop feces or eggs however.

Passive tame, so repellant, prime meat, and patience are needed.

I took out a level 116 Alpha Carno with 5 onyc and a yutyrannus, they are monsters

The onyc’s damage is really good for its size, it’s considered to be a medium tier damage dealer, inflicting 35 damage, about the same as a carno.

Can be a great XP farm. Brought a lvl 92 Argentavis to the castle on Ragnarok, after I cleared out the surface it was lvl 114. They can give megarabies though, so be careful in melee with them

Wild card make them rideable it literally says when you look at them equip saddle to ride😢

They are good base guardians. Use them.

Cave onyc when hit give torper (idk but I don’t think all cave onycs gives torpor) epic defense (maybe even a giga is ez kill)very small and annoying to hit and medium hp up if you find this helping you

They are not really usefull in solo but maybe they are pvp

Let one of these follow you around when exploring,I got one and it’s cool but terrifying ,I was walking through the forest with my newly tamed onyc

(Only level 8 btw) and two level 10 carnos charged me ,and they got SHREDDED.seriously,amazing tame even in single player
