Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a noglin? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a noglin.
Brontos are pretty effective 20% per bronto. Of course there is always the risk of it killing the noglin but, if done successfully, u would only need 5 for a 150. Be sure to toss only 2 dinos at a time so the noglin does not loose interest and u wont have to reset the taming process.
These guys are smart and I think if you get controlled it would be like you unconscious but you’ll be moving also I think it will be a sacrifice tame.
Move the noglin out of render from the creatures your using to tame it with them fly it back it seems to make it want to latch faster from what I've seen
On a 2x taming server each parasaur I gave it gave a little over 3% tame. I think the dinos health or species might matter because I heard of people getting 20% per dino
Here’s a short tip do NOT use bred creatures to get the best effectiveness use freshly tamed wild ones.
You can skiff these little guys so you can get em in your trap nice and easy :) I just found this out on an official PlayStation crossark server
A noglin has two options once you find it: the first is running at you, the second is running away. If he runs at you, run away or grapple to the roof, but if he runs away, shoot him with a dart, the normal one with the red on the back on a flat surface once asleep, go near it, and trap it in a cube, but bring criopod-ed carbonameys because taming it, it has to mind control the carbonameys but, a step: 1. Put carbonameys blocking dinosaur gateways, but the tall type all in a circle⭕️ Then before the noglin’s awake, delete the cube you used to trap it, then let it walk around and mind control the carbonameys, once each is hurt, criopod them and if the noglin gets trapped, move that carbonameys that is trapping the noglin with the body
Do not use turtles, as they now give less than 5%. Brontos give 20%
Use female deer. They literally can’t attack
It is ridiculously hard to tame these guys but after you’ve tamed one it is totally worth it for pvp
Brontos and voidwym over lvl 200+ Give 20% tame effectiveness.
You can also hold the bronto or voidwym with skiff while it’s being controlled to keep it in a safe spot.
Sometimes it doesn’t latch on right as it needs to go for a little run around.
It will take five turtles for one not going to be tamed but they will need to be a high enough level for 20%
Tame 5 level 135 or higher brontos. They will tame out at 200 or higher and give the noglin 20% each.
In my experience the Dinos you give it have to be wild tamed. I gave it Bree brontos and it jumped off too soon, wild tamed it stayed for the full 20
The best way to tame these guys is to get a snow owl look in Rockwells inners in the big river outside of rockwells inners with it’s thermal on I recommend the river because it’s more safe and if your at the river keep to the side the most plant life is on. Anyway once you find the small creature net it build a box around it then once you have done that build a Dino gate pen using at least 8 then you get your creature’s I recommend using cryopods to trance port them then through down your creature’s then release the noglin I recommend 10 high level turtles 12 if want to be more careful though.if you don’t know where Rockwells inners is look it up on Google. Hope this helps you tame a noglin
If the noglin is in water it doesn’t seem to be able to do it’s dash/mind control move. And taming progress will drop pretty fast if in mid tame since it can’t control your creature. Also make sure your pen is air tight
Command for any island you wantsdf braunslug 1 1000
Use brontos it's most efficient when mind controlled the bronto will not atacc or think you are snacc
Is this what controlled Rockwell?
Be careful when taming these one turned my lvl 318 voidwyrm wild. Make sure you use dinos you don’t really care about losing to be safe.
