Tips & Strategies

What are tips for noglin? Tips and strategies for noglin in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Use brontos for taming 130+ noglins for max effectiveness the brontos have to be leveled the noglin drains a lot of there hp so have a daeodon ready if your looking for more!
Better leveled dinos give more taming progress, with a max of 20% progress per tame. Species matters too, doeds/turtles were giving 11% where as stegos, diplos, and mammoths gave 20%
Guy from the summoner tip! These things are hard to find so I don’t know the biome, but I do know that these things are BUSTED. They are able to latch onto survivors and guess what TURRETS WONT SHOOT EM. This with the ammo box, shadow-mane and tek bow is going to FOREVER change the face of pvp...until it’s nerfed.
Was out on a meat run with my giga, got kicked off of it, giga ate me. I was right by my base, went outside, saw yellow letters over my giga saying mind controlled. Watched it instantly die, (from full health) and body eaten. Since it wasn’t technically mine, it doesn’t show up in the kill feed. So yeah, that’s great…
Imagine if you tame it by letting it take control of your Dino
You can use Sanguine elixer from a Desmodus to finish up the last 30 percent of the tame. I use 4 Voidwryms and net them so they don't fly away. Then net the noglin (didn't reduce effectiveness for me) with the elixer in your hot bar and go up to it and it should light up ready to use, and bam say hi to your new noglin. Didn't see this anywhere and wanted to share
you could make your noglin brainwash a giga, lead it to a trap and then make it a permanent tame, or you could just find two male and female gigas, brainwash them and force them to mate, take the fertilized egg, and there you go, you now have a low to no effort giga or carcha
It showed that these live in the biome thats also rock wells insides.
This sounds like it'll be very annoying.
Just don’t encounter a player with it
I think I have an idea for this. When it controls you it would turn into a third person view, similar to when a raptor pounces on you. Then I think you will go around either attacking wild dinos or attacking your tames. I think that if you get attacked by a wild Dino it does damage to both you and the noglin. If your tames attack you it will leave you unharmed while the noglin dies. To tame it I think it’s either a tranq tame where you tranq your tames then it will fall of your tame for you to feed or it will be similar to the troodon by letting it control your tames and drains it until your tame dies then you get it. As a tame, it might let you take control of a wild Dino which will be its main food source, before it takes out the wild Dino the controlled Dino its on will be like a temporary tame. If you decide to tranq the wild Dino it’s on the noglin may suffer aswell and will either die or get knocked depending on the tame method. This is only my opinion so this won’t be 100% true.
Best way to tame.
Tame 6 145+ brontos, level them in hp
Pick nog up with and drop in large behemoth encased area
5 people fly above drop 1 bronto at a time as soon as it latches drop the next 1 on top of if, previous person cryos the hurt bronto.
Have snow owl to heal after and you can keep taming nogs all day
