I mostly find these guys near the red ob I found a alpha and a normal next to each other there then I tamed the normal one and then another spawned

Notes about the obelisk they would all be completely submerged one in a chasm another slammed sideways into the sea floor and the green obelisk above the water but surrounded by rocks

By them self they are easy to tame. Kill everything in the area, have a somewhat fast dino, with a high health, a good saddle, and then just shot and run.

Sometimes when you tame a Mosa the taming bar is not there

Hi, today i tamed my firt Mossasaurus and heres how you can to. I used the anmomite rage efekt to lure the mosasaurus to a island, and then just shot it with a crossbow you can shot it with darts but I forgot mine, anyway you can use prime meat or pirme fish meat. i used bio toxin to keep it a sleep it works really well. I tamed mine and im only level 60, anyway hope

I got lucky with a ascended megalodon saddle so I put it on a 10k health meg and had it attack the mosa lvl 80 then whistled passive and it gave me more than enough time to tranq it

Lure it to a underwater resource cave and place a behemoth dino gateway and a gate it will get stuck ( works on mobile) tamed this at a resource cave near 87.4 and 87.5. Can be found near carno island

Why are there’s in mobile yet nobody has one...I think finding one is hard but if you find one remember where get a basilosaur and go back to it with harpoon tranqs and ko game it and give it meat...THIS DOES NOT WORK ON ALPHAS,YOU AND YOUR BASILOSAUR WILL BE DEAD(or just swim away and look like a wimp)hope this helps!

On ASA, just tamed one, lvl 150, on a boosted server, maybe 3x. I took 4 behemoths gates, I placed them like a cage under a cliff on the bottom of the sea, so the top part is covered by the cliff. I lured the Mossa inside the cage with my Basi and trapped it, then via a small gap I shot it with the ascended crossbow (400% damage) 50 - 60 Tranq arrows, feed it with at least 7 Extraordinary Kibble and 200 Narcotics to be sure it will not wake up before.

Pro:

It's very fast in the water, I want to race it against the dolphin, it might be faster.

Good at collecting meat, gel, biotoxin, hide etc.

Cons:

Can't reach too close to the shore because it's getting beached.

The turning radius is horrible, if something is attacking you from behind it's very difficult to turn around and do some damage back.

It's loosing health faster than Basi

If you have a squid and a tribemate then it’s a piece of cake. First you grab it with a squid and swim up till the other mosas can’t get to you then you have your friend tranq it out while you’re holding it. If you’re lucky you can get it close to land and your friend can use tranq darts

If you have one of these NEVER put these guys on neutral, they will run away if it gets attacked and you’ll never see your mosa again.

In Genesis part 1 You can get him to swim into a bubble and it will be unable to move if the bubble gets caught on something (The Bubble eventually pops but it’s still worth a try, because the bubble still lasts a while)

In Genesis, there is a section underneath the Ocean E spawn where there is a glitch pass the big tek door that allows u to swim inside. I baited a mosa inside there and placed one behemoth stone gate down on him and tranqed from the top of where my base is on land shooting down on him. Yhere is currently another one there as we soeak but it's 4am and I make 9 lol

(Mobile) You set sail to die, I mean tame a mosa. First you find one. Then make a cage without angering your surrounding wildlife. You die because you are too low level and you try again later. You finish the trap (4 behemoth gates closed on the ends.) Open one end swim through with you god chasing you. If it is trapped you can swim out through the side and close the gates. And then you shoot till its out. Keep it asleep with narcs or bio toxin while taming with kibble or prime. After a grueling amount of time fighting everything off. If you succeed you will have your new giga of the sea.

Do you think there should be shock tranq spear bolts as the underwater shock dart?

Wow... OH hello! So these giant sea creatures have massive turning circles! You can stay in their blind spot and shoot at them with harpoon and tran bolts. If you must bring a dino, turtles turn to slow. Alligators

I recently tamed lv 1 female, I learned that it’s best if u take scuba because it might take some time to knock one unconscious. Also make sure if ur taking a high lv take a creature that swims a decent speed and it’s got good heath, and if u have one, take a meg along with u if the creature u took has too poor damage to protect the unconscious mosa,

Best for mobile players to use a 10x balm from artifacts with/or quez kibble. For comp use a exceptional kibble. Make sure to brings LOTS of bio toxin or it will wake up and monch u in pieces. I found 3 near the ocean borders of teh map, so look there first.

And use a crossbow with toxicants, or if ur FaNcy, use a comp bow, but cross is for a more torpor dealer, comps are best for shooting it faster.
