I tamed this boi with cooked fish meat..and I regret setting it on wander and aggressive bc I lost him and the next day I found him with his inv full of raw and prime and fish meat so I just let him stay by my base and a fooking lvl 90 dodo just got devoured by him and I lost him due to him flying and he flew back to the ocean ;-; (btw he is a level 110)

how to tame mosa:

1. K I L L I T

2. take its implant

3. place a revival platform in water

4. block off any exits to ur revival platform in water

5. revive the mosa using weird doohicky magic and crap

6. knock it out while u laugh that it cant aggro on u bc it's in shallow water

7. tame it or whatever

8. (u might need to request ur mosa into the ocean bc it probably will get stuck in shallow water)

(ark mobile) for some reason it only took 1 kibble to tame with 15x balm and once it was tamed i checked on its inventory and it ate all of the kibble (level 300 mosa)

I always see people making comments about the Mosa’s size, they always say it should be bigger but i think wildcard made it like that on purpose. The mosasaur wasn’t all that big in real life and would likely get beat up by a meg.

It took me 4 quetzal kibble with a 10times soothing balm to tame a level 140 when the dododex said it would take 7 kibble

Taming the giga is a walk in the park compared to this

Bring a lot and I mean a lot trank arrows

Use a sarco to tame these you can shoot right off it's back and its gg. So much easier than trying to kite it into a cave or trap.

Tuso does roughly 10 torpor per second to a held Dino. You can solo knockout a max level mosa just by holding it for about 50 minutes, no tranqs needed. If you're good with a squid, you can drop it, reposition, and grab it again on the surface so you don't need scuba while you wait

The hard part is finding one. K.Oing one and the whole taming process is easy. Bring lots of narcs and kibble. It's recommended to find one first before bringing your kibble and narcs in case you get killed.

When taming get an assendant crossbow or combat bow and you can tame one easy I suggest the kibble trust me I used raw meat on a 150 and it took for ever

If you are in single player just get the god console it will make everything way easier to do.

Me and my buddy used a sarco and a good plessie to tank. Short story shoot it up.

They are a pain to tame on mobile

Now don’t get too excited when you encounter one and want to tame it because ice spent the last 3 days looking for a mosa that wouldn’t despawn. >:(

The easiest way I have found to solo tame these is to find one you want and hope that there is an ammonite nearby.

Once you hit the ammonite everything nearby aggro's onto you.

When the mosasurus gets to a certain height like the shore it will simply stop moving.

It won't attack or flee, just sits there waiting to be knocked out .

Make it chase you into the underwater cave where it will get stuck at the entrance, then light it up with tranq darts or arrows or watever you use. Make sure to bring some kind of prime meat, and plenty of narcotics.
