If you're looking for an alpha mosa (for 100 black pearls), kill those regular ones if you find them. There's a fair chance an alpha mosa will spawn.

I spent 2 days circling around the island but no alpha mosa. I decided to kill those regular ones while on my way back to base, and there she is an alpha mosa right in front of my base.

I used itchy to kill it. My itchy was 300 health, while the mosa was 54k. It took me 1 ark day.

I literally swim all the ocean of the the island and didnt find one I NEED ONE WHERE THE HELL THEY SPAWN!

I find this funny that I was killed by a mosasaurus while I was swimming to herbivore island(don’t ask why I wasn’t on a Dino or raft)and I was above water trying to catch my breath because I was so close to setting foot on it and then all I hear is my character screaming and seeing I was killed by a mosa and that was my first ever encounter with the mosasaurus

I got a idea so this is another way to tame a pleasiosaur so lead it into a underwater cave and put a dinosaur/behemoth gate and tranq it out until it is knocked out and feed it some quezal kibble and boom... a ocean king

I found 2 alpha mosa’s at cords 8.7 lat and 41.2 long

I lapped the island on ark mobile checked every trench but coulnd find 1 I don’t believe they exist in ark mobile

Tamed a lvl 85. Took forever to KO because the bastard kept swimming away after a few chomps. So I swam up to it's depth wall and left my Basilasaurus in its mouth while I Tranq'd it from above.

Whenever you go to ocean take oxygen tank with you whether you use it or not . I didn't and saw an alpha mosa. So I went back and came there it got despawned so sad.

I first found one when I was looking for pleisasures to tame, I killed it with my ichthyosaurus. Sorry if I have bad spelling.
