Things you need to tame a high level mosa

1:50 tranq arrows to be safe

I tamed one with a mastercraft crossbow and about 5-10 tranq arrows and around 90-100 bio toxin and some prime fish meat but it was only a level 15 or 16 use a bronto or a good berry harvester and just kill a Rex or something fro prime meat that spoils pretty fast I just killed an alpha raptor and then tame something like an archelon for bio toxin and then just tranq it out and give it extraordinary kibble, raw prime meat, or raw fish meat (regular fish meat and regular meat works too but it is not good and only does 8% taming) and then you have a mosasaurus.

Take an ichy. Get your best xbow (I prefer xbow because it’s easier to shoot and hit target on the back of the ichy) circle the mosa firing away. The ichy is quick enough to dodge the bite. If you dodge a wrench you can dodge a mosa.

Ok, for those of us people who cant seem to get any pearls for a tuso to simply grab on a mosa and wait it out then i have a solution. Down in the depths there is a cave on the ragnorok map. Some call it pearl cave or mushroom cave. Either name works. What i did was i mad a crap load of tranq arrows, took a journeyman crossbow and a 227 meg (not neccessary. You can have any level an icthy works too) and lured a mosa into this cave. When you enter there is a fork in the path. Take a right and you will notice that the land comes up where your meg can get through but the mosa can't. Camp there with your crossboe and tranq it. Stand on land so you dont waste the scuba tank. Once it runs it should run into the wall that is opposite from the middle island. After its out grabs some narcotic and meat. I reccommend setting up a little FOB or mini base at the cave beforehand so you are prepared. Wait it out and enjoy your new underwater giga!

The mosasaur if your on ascended can be found in astreos valguero the island and the center in the deepest parts I recommend a light pet

Is it just my mosa or they can get infinite stunned by jellyfish?

Easiest way to tame mosa

No trap needed

Just need to be fast

Mosa don't come after you after a particular deapth

Even if you attack on it it won't come after you you can easily tranqulise mosa with this trick

Seems to be the fastest on mobile, outrunning even my icthy. To tame safely get an icthy, and stay on the ascension roof. Follow if it dives deeper to re aggro then get back up again, then shoot with toxicant arrows(only on mobile) or tranq spear bolts (not available on mobile it seems). Best tame, has a very high weight and speed and melee dmg, but has a bit of a pain in the ass turning radius. Easy to tame though, on mobile use a soothing balm and some prime meat taken from nearby basilosauruses or normal raw meat (raw meat is better at taming most stuff in the water than fish meat). Best thing to use for though is taming a tuso, as it can survive long and is powerful enough to even escort you and the tuso back to base. Best way to kill is with a high level basilo or another mosa.

Tip : Use a sarco to tame it, it's alot easier since sarco has high dmg than ichtyo and can clear the area and you can use weapons while on sarco.
