If trying to tame one make like a wyvern trap on the bottom on the ocean and hive someone else shut it. I use a sarco to lead it in the trap. On the center you can make the trap right next to the air bubble to escaped in the Airr away from any attack range and have a keypad to shut it.

Have someone on a plesi with high health tank the bites from the mosa and have however many other people you have tranqing it. Thats how we tamed our 150 :)

Alpha. First one I saw, first expidition into the deep. I killed it after it killed my 2 level 60 mantas. Got on the shore and shot with assault rifle.

Found one deep in the very bottom right of the map near herb island, be careful of jellies and those eels.

best way to tame this thing get a low lvl squid with points on health hold the mosa with squid and go up and wait 15 the mosa ko by the way if you get the mosa up the mosa will leave you and not attack you just wait the mosa ko if you find this help rise it

If you want to fight it without one I’d suggest housing a high level balli and when your low swim up

Your best bet will be farming hunters cave for 10x soothing bam and then using a good crossbow to take down a mosasaurus and then feed it prime meat I would say use a dolphin to do that so the other creatures don't attack you and it will easy as hell.

The turn radius of the Mosasaurus is huge so you can easily swim around and avoid the mouth while pelting them with tranq arrows.

Who tamed this thing with cooked fish meat, because they are the green ninja.

When taming wait for torpor to get really low, then dump all required narcotic. I usually do extra just Incase but doing this you can relax while you wait for your timer.

Theres a trick into taming a mosa by getting it stuck in shallow water, all you gotta is hit an ammonite and let the mosa follow you into really shallow water, this causes it to get stuck and it wont move no matter what you do. This can also be done with a tuso.

Im pretty sure you can use tranquilizer spear bolts in harpoon guns but i might be wrong

Get a high get a very high lvl sarco and use a mastercraft crossbow and start tranking

67 shocking tranq darts, 132 reg tranq darts using a 157% longneck rifle on 150 x mosa. Bring double what dodoex says is required. Almost had to break out the crossbow.

Breed up a Megalodon with a lot of health (~30-40,000) and face tank it. Once it’s on the run your shark will be able to catch it easy.

I’ve ran into an alpha mosasaurus it kill my one sea tame in two bits and killed me with one bite

X creatures take 2.5 times as many tranqs to knock and also the mosa wakes up 2 times faster than a spino so it wakes up veeeerrry fast

I dont know if this works for everyone but my mosa that I tranqed ran away from me when I got off my mosa and it was under its height limit

If taming on genesis the mosa is an X dino. Which requires 3x the normal amount of tranqs than normal. ( this is for any X dino) to trap the mosa place 4 behemoth gate frames in a row spaced a little apart. Put a door on both end gates. Open one end and kite the mosa in, swim outside the gap you left between the gates and swing around to close the gate you kites it through. Knock it outside and get that giga of the sea! Also as a heads up, the torpor drops like a giga. Therefore you only have a few mins after it’s knocked out to start pumping the narcotics into it. Once you do that it takes awhile to fill it’s torpor and you will have it tamed before it fills if using kibble.

Found a glitched alpha mosa lvl 90 on a shore, killed him with a tribe mate, got 2 lvl (I was lvl 75)
