Im lvl 68, and i tamed a fricckin' mossa! I used 500 biotoxins and 120 raw meat and i used an acuatic monture (an ictiosaurus)

The mossa spawns near carno island to tame a mossa make sure you use a fast crossbow to knock out mossa - from WinterTheWolf

Just take an itchy and some decent crossbows or compound bow with some tranq arrows or toxicant arrows and knock it out without dismounting the itchy.. Easiest way to tame one.. Just tamed a lvl 130 water demon..

Underwater caves are so clutch when it comes to taming such creatures, set a gate and youre pretty much done!

So there is a carnivore and a herbivore island... if it is called carnivore island then why can I find none there and I once found two next to herbivore island

I tamed this in my rhynio on the island and boy was it kind of easy. I didn’t use a trap cause I’m too lazy to craft one I blew through 230ish tranqs for a 125 it didn’t rlly attack and usually I just went two feet closer to the surface and it would flee more and I got attack by a lieplireduon a bunch of pleasisaurs and a alpha mosa and eels. I got it out just now tame one it’s pretty fun!!!

Quetz kibbles dont work on switch , the mosas can ate it but its only a 1 percent, if youre a switch player tame it with raw mutton -Diego

Can’t find miss on mobile but been searching for three hours, why can’t I find one, I mean a can find plesiosaur easily but not mosa

They spawn south on the island. Between the land and the barrier, when found, use a crossbow to get its attention and use your mount as bait (Recommend a basilo or another mosa for their high health). Once it agros on your mount, swim up and start tranqing it. Their torpor drains fast so wait a while until it reaches 40% and spam some bio toxin or narcotics in. I recommend starve taming as you could easily lose your kibble if you go away for a while.(Make sure your mount is fully healed for an emergency getaway)

These monstrosities are the spawn of a Rex and a piranha, but then someone had the idea to put a platform saddle on this and create a death machine unmatched by anything in Ark.

They are impossible to find in the island

Ok so if u find one of these guys swim to the surface as fast as possible cause they can only go up so far and if it’s already attacking u we’ll say gn cause mosas are fast,tanky,and are practically underwater gigas so they do sooooo much damage.🗿

It is god for raiding under water cave on mobile just chuck rocket launcher turret on the back

Make your life easy and just make a trap. Using an itchy isn't worth it, it's dangerous and slow to knock out. Use a behemoth gate and make a massive box. Using stone doorframes, hatch frames and foundations. Can't really explain how to build it but you get the idea. Also the trap can be used infinitely so it's much better. Good luck with your mossa taming

If you got two people and a tuso just drag it to the surface and keep it still while others shoot it with tranqs

More over on the dlc you would have pocket of space where you could create tools and have a breath of air there would be creatures that could give you water similar to oil bugs. With vents that would go and shove you upwards. The new creature would be a thing that would set up deep sea areas and required food to be dragged towards it similar to otters they would speed as super sonic speed and inflict a deprevention debuff that starves you of oxygen. It would be able to morph into the ocean floor or the top to hide itself
