Use bow while walking backwards away from it. Keep hitting it with tranq arrows. While your backing up you won't get hit, because it has to stop moving to attack. Just be aware of your surroundings.

These guys can make for an early to mid game form of squadron/ caravan.

They have tones of weight and decent health and damage, they can easily kill raptors and other small threats, plus a single Morellatops can carry 750 units of water and can refill from lakes and wells making them essential to large nomadic tribes or long distant journeys.

Just don’t attack anything bigger than your station, like elementals.

Easy tame but will run away quickly, any beginner should tame this first, holds 750 water.

Useful for gathering wood from the little tree shaped bushes

Using multiple in a caravan can become useful for long distance walking, usually 4-5 in a herd

Its atack has long range so you can effectively kill terror birds, raptors, wolves etc without worry

These are great at harvesting berries and have a lot of weight so if ur going on a metal run. Plus they hold water so in scorched earth while going on a metal run u don't have to worri about water

Just throw a boomerang and follow it

Then feed it with cactus sap

Get on a rock and start traqing it and when it knocked out watch its torpor. Stuff some berries and don't let it wake up unless tamed.

Tame aa herd of these using a pillar/gateway setup.. they get stuck in them and easy ko.. then it's time to get a real tame THORNY DRAGON! #THORNEYSRLIFE

A great animal to have as a start they provide water everytime u need a drink u don't have to go far and wide look for a area that has water, just make sure u keep it safe as low lvl can die very easy

Low level tribes tame one right away and collect mejos and narcos then make narcotics then make narco arrows and your set

When trying to tame a Morellatops, try to kill anything hostile around it first, because it is usually killed when it’s unconscious

You just replaced your Moschops with a morraltops because he gathers way more fiber and gathers water! Found in red woods

Be careful when trying to knock these guys out, I read they run off if alone but attack if they have other Morellatops around (which is correct), I spotted one and began shooting tranq arrows at it and was disappointed when it ran at me, "Misinformation" I thought.. until I spotted 2 others coming at me. It wasn't pleasant and my tribemate died a few times helping me split them up 😂 Once I got it alone it started to flee, happy to say I tamed it and we named her Mozzarella.

Best taming method is to use a cross bow with tranqs ... Boomerangs have about a 60% chance on killing it
