If you find yourself against a herd of these, just keep backing up and using your boomerangs, trans arrows, and slingshots. Typically they will run directly the way you are facing when you attack them. You can use that to your advantage by running it into rocks or a mountain side. Be careful if taking on a group! They are faster then they look by far. They have a good topar timer so dropping multiple at once and taming thdm all is not too difficult.
