I love these guys a lot and there wanna my fav beginner tames for scorched and other maps. One thing is that the babies go quick, but I love the design.
So these things are great beginner tames, never owned one myself . More of a studier, BUT On scorched earth this should be your first go to for a tame, Dont attack large groups though, As they will attack when not alone and gang up and kill you. So go for any lone wolves. I would prefer a trap in a safe area as the desert is full of things that would love such a tasty sleeping meal, Tame it up and its a oversized water container, and also a good defense against raptors and such.
If you want scorched earth in the game just go to lost island and pick any sunset beach or bright lion beach
