Use a bolo on them, makes them infinitely more manageable. I always carry at least 5 bolos

Carefully come up to one and bola it, they are effected by bolas. make sure you are not on a mount smaller than a rex since they can jump up and stun you off. their torpor drops a little fast.

If you are attempting to tame one or one is running up on you(pending no preditors are around) dismount as they fly around you, they will not stun and you can throw a quick bola. They are pretty weak downed a 174 with 2 darts from a 161% rifle using this technique. Great in pvp to terrorize people, I personally use them for kibble and they are just neat shoulder mounts.

They don’t spawn in mobile. Surprisingly. Don’t waste your time finding these guys in mobile!!!

We all hate this annoying pest, but here’s a guide to tame one for those of you who want to

1. Microraptors will knock you off your mount, and that’s the easiest way to tame them, so before attempting kill everything aggressive to a player, because they could kill you

2. The best way to tame this is by standing still and letting it pounce you off your mount. After doing so, it should aggro on you or your mount, instead of running around at Mach 5, so it will be easier to hit. I recommend bringing armor, so you won’t take much damage.

3. Shoot it with tranq arrows or tranq darts, it shouldn’t take very many, so bring 10ish tranq arrows, or 5ish tranq darts. They are slow once they have pounced you, so you don’t need to trap it because you can outrun it

4. If you have access to kibble or mutton they are great to use, if not, use prime, you may lose a few levels though it’s torpor doesn’t drop very fast, so bring a few berries or narcs and you should be good. It’s a pretty quick tame so I recommend just waiting near it for it to tame

I have one named Chicken leg he is lvl207 and I tamed him with prime meat. (TAME WITH PRIME) they are useful in many ways!:if you pick them up and drop them near a corpse they will collect meat from the corpse!. Happy taming!.

People say use rare flower they also eat rare mushrooms also bola it and tranq it with arrows or darts and then you have your own chicken that will rip your enemy’s faces off in pvp c:

A lv 9999 can be the tamed by 38 rare flowers. Wow

To tame a micro raptor won't easy because they stun u And can kill you. To tame one you'll need bolas and tranq arrows or a wooden club and some narcotics or narcoberries. First find one in the redwoods and get stunned by one but be careful of other dangerous dinos. And knock it out with tranq arrows and feed it the amount of meat the dododex says to give it to tame.

Breeding- Incubation is about 2 hours. 5 and a half hour baby phase. The eggs decompose when you set them down and have to be picked up every 25 minutes and set back down or they disappear.

My easy way to tame these is fly around in their spawn area and when they kick you off your flyer shoot them straight in the head and then chuck a rare flower in it

Simple kibble works also as a taming method

Rare flowers are the best way to tame a microraptor.

Be careful on hatching them they have a Decomposes timer of 30 minute!

Super easy to get these on genesis. Just slither around the arctic on a basilisk, give it a bite or two while it's circling you to KO, then feed a rare flower. If you can't find any flowers in the bushes it's easy to just buy one from the HLNA shop.

Naw the dude just want's a nice bouquet from you and he'll be your valentine for life!

Knocking them is easy a couple tranq dart to the head will knock it out and I believe all levels tame with about 1-2 rare flowers
